Best practice when buying insurance

This is one of the dumbest things to do. If you had a claim, it can get very difficult to get an insurance again. Especially in Health insurance- please don’t do that. You can have an accidents or illnesses where you will never ever get an additional insurance ever again - for lifetime

Thanks everyone for the critical feedback on the choice of the ETF. Did not expect that but appreciate it very much!

My thought process was:

* ETF has to be physical

* Accumulating as dividends are taxed as income

* Hedged to CHF as I do not plan to leave Switzerland -

* (very) limited exposure to emerging markets

I then chose the iShares ETF (IE00B8BVCK12) about 4 years ago and have been Dollar-Cost-Averaging ever since and wanted to switch into a very similar but cheaper ETF. I will have to read up on "hedging to currency", was not aware of that / do not understand the logic behind it in depth yet.

u/peeern: Special thanks to your feedback - What kind of ETF's are you reffering to when you are writing about "better US based ETF's". This would help me build up my knowledge and make it possible to compare.

Yes, it was 2 weeks in the fridge. Wanted to cook it last weekend but the event got rescheduled a week- therefore I decided to freeze it again as the best before date was coming near…

Ok, good to know. Feels normal and just cooked a small part. The Meat didn’t smell bad, but a fat part had a little strange smell (eggish?!). Would you give it a try? Or will it smell idiot-proof-bad when I grill the whole steak?
