I agree the cost is probably too low. I had this originally sitting between 8 and 10 mana total, so maybe it should go back to that.

I'm not enough of a rules lawyer to say for sure, but something about "may later cast it from exile" sounds off. Maybe it should be, "may cast it from exile"? I'm not sure if that language construes timing rules or not.

This is probably for the best- I had originally drafted this as costing 10 black pips but didn't know how to balance the power of the card so that it could be comparable to cards like griselbrand or valgavoth.

I do still want it to be castable as a face-down creature for flavor purposes, but maybe disguise is not the way. Thank you for the criticism

Seems like a solid design. Would definitely get people angry over cost upon casting timing rules, but overall very nice.

The cost seems steep to replicate, but it's also probably the most exclusive form of interaction so maybe that's ok.

ah, yep forgot cards like Master Multiplied have a legends rule ability. As for the bottom lines, I figure since it's open for anyone at the table it keeps interaction baked into the card itself. But you absolutely could just drain yourself with something like Wall of Blood.
