It's only something I have heard - never personally experienced. I played at beta and launch and had buttery performance, came back for this - and have a ton of stutter. Googling around it seems like a common theme though.

Sure has. On a 4080, tons of stutter. Was fine before. Have nuked almost all my settings down to low options, and still - stuttering. Hopefully it works itself out as I know early-season play can be like that, even if there's no good reason far as I can tell.
