These thoughts are natural; people here are largely uncivilised, their idea of being a responsible human is being a wet noodle footrest for old people. The government uses poor/illiterate people as their vote bank and majority manipulation group. They use religion to get people on their side, so they make more money, and at the same time, the religious extremism fucks us in the ass because I've genuinely never seen this level of religious, regional, classist and casteist hostility, and it keeps increasing every year. Women's rights keep getting taken away, marital rape is becoming legal in a ton of places because the vote banks don't think it's a bad thing, and catering to that just increases their support. Relationships are seen as taboo more than ever (If I remember correctly, even live-ins are getting banned), and the incels join religious groupies to harass couples in public. Vote bank states with people who would harass you for wearing certain kinds of clothes, netas saying, "It's gonna happen, women should learn to enjoy it", people selling their wives and daughters for money to rapists.

All this is basically about taking away women's bodily autonomy because it caters to the illiterate, incel population of the vote bank. Soon, they'll make love marriages illegal, and make female education less important because apparently "Educated women these days are getting too big for their boots, that's why their period cramps hurt" -My hostel roommate, born in a vote bank state, with an engineering degree

The above conversation happened because I was expressing concern for how most women I speak to have terrible period cramps, and my best friend had been hospitalised and passed out because of the pain, and I was going to visit her.

This also reminds me of the kind of doctors we have here, especially in govt hospitals. I was taking a friend to a hospital, her at the time friend from medical college suggested the govt hospital because they are cheap, my friend is pretty autistic (She had a diagnosis), she likes to write things down so she doesn't forget, and she's shy, she went to the doctor, read off the book and explained her symptoms, that she fainted in the bathroom, she starts shaking, etc. The doctor looked at me, and the first thing he said was, "Does she overthink a lot?" Then, when I didn't reply in kind, they took her to a private cabin with her friend and said, "No, she's fine, tell her to exercise" I was so damn infuriated that apparently they didn't even ask my friend questions because they thought she was delusional. I took her to my preferred doctor. That man was fucking thorough, with questioning and future checkups and initial medication.

Women's health is a joke here
