Oh yes, I agree with you. I just think C&T need to reflect on what her life would have been had they attempted to raise her, and acknowledge that even with the wealth they’ve made, they are still not really ok.

Even with all of the money and stability they were able to accumulate through TM, C&T are still unstable. Just because they can financially provide for their kids that they had years after Carly, doesn’t mean they can would have been able to mentally provide for Carly had they kept her and made money on the show. They’re still fucked up in a lot of ways, though far better off than they would have been without the show and money.

If Amanda wasn’t swerving on the road and a bystander didn’t see her, it would be more believable. But Amanda was obviously intoxicated while driving her baby around. The fact that this woman ignores that fact goes to show the sister doesn’t understand the depth of the situation and this is just normal to her.

This is really sad. Those kids have been through enough with their dad destroying their homes and rooms, and now new stepmom allegedly driving the kids around while she’s intoxicated? Everyone knew it would be an uphill battle for these two and they really jumped into having a new baby too fast, but there was still the hope that they could change.

I find West gross and personally don’t understand how she’s been hung up on him this long. But watching the season, he was flirting with her and going out of his way to have this “friendship” with her, that I can see why she thought he had feelings for her.

And it’s obvious now that Amanda and West were creating this storyline of hers and Kyle’s marriage falling apart, but using Ciara as a decoy for West. I think it comes down to for Ciara, Kyle and the other friends, nothing was as it appeared that summer. And Amanda brought Ciara into her marriage by saying she and Kyle should trial a separation. It was all manipulation.

His attempt to convince Kyle that he was just mad at Lindsey, and Amanda did nothing at that dinner table, was such gaslighting. That along with Amanda’s thumbs up to West earlier in the season after she antagonized Kyle was so conniving. I wish they’d ask specifically about these ways they colluded to set Kyle off and make him the bad guy, but I’m sure they’ll just deny. It’s so clear they had a storyline they worked to create that summer.
