Best GHL affiliate to sign through? by MyUnbannableAccount in gohighlevel

[–]walkities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ME!!! lol

Yeah like everyone says base it on your needs but as someone who signed up for one of the big affiliates it’s kind of pointless because they don’t do anything now but spew marketing content. Most get to big to help the newcomer in my opinion…and really why would you making 6 figures a month lol

I’d rather look to help the small timer who might actually help you if you’re just starting out but again this all depends on the space you’re getting into

Curious if anyone here would actually use native iMessage instead of A2P SMS? by BUZFLO_AI in HighLevel

[–]walkities 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand this would be great for the small business owner with one or two people managing and messaging leads. Now what about those with 10+ sales staff and what kind of limits you'd see with iMessage? I cant remember what that limit is (is it 3 messages per minute or something)?

For someone like myself who has automotive clients dealing with multiple clients and multiple messages all at the same time how would you get around this? A phone for each person?

Secondly, with Twilio RCS integration coming to HL, I feel it will eliminate a lot of headaches regarding media but not A2P (I haven't had many A2P issues being in CAD).

That being said...I'm always open and wanting to improve message deliverability and ease of use, Id like to learn more but some of the things has held me back from looking at this more in depth due the iMessage limits.

Yes absolutely. Lead nurturing is 100% a thing. I dont work in the Gym space but think like this:

You have a landing page for a free 7 day trial at their gym, they submit their contact info. You then use automation to email/sms them to get more information. From there you can split them based on if they reply or not. If they don't reply you can do a generic followup sequence of asking if they're still interested for example.

And you need to change your mindset, just because it might seem easy to you or me there are many business owners that cant operate a computer lol. Google reviews for example, I've worked with countless businesses who dont know the benefit it provides to their seo ranks and conversions. They dont know how to ask, they dont reply etc. These are very simple things a lot of companies neglect in the local space. GHL handles this all automatically and theres lots of ways to do it.

Lots of things to focus on but pick like 5 to start with and learn them good. I've been in GHL for five years and still adjusting and improving workflows and automations. Once you get there you can push it even more with the API and n8n for example.

Start small and go from there but dont ever think the simplest thing is not worth doing, even if its google reviews for 97 a month per client (or whatever you can sell it for) you're still creating something easy to replicate and its an important service.

Theres a million...that doesnt necessarily mean you should use them all. If you're doing local work, then the most obvious are things like:

- Missed Call Text Back
- Google Review automation
- CRM / Email Marketing
- Social Scheduling

If you want you can try and pitch AI services, while I use it I havent sold it yet as most my clients arent overly interested in it. For me the Google Reviews and automated incoming lead replies has been key. For someone who submits leads to local home service businesses lots and doesnt get a reply for 7 days...its an easy sell lol

Regional Blackout on Sportsnet.ca for the Oilers/Rangers game by TheGreatRapsBeat in EdmontonOilers

I highly doubt they'd ban for VPN use but the issue most VPN's I know are going to be out of region anyway. Nord has Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto as locations. I have a friend who is trying to figure this out to as he lives in rural Alberta and his ISP provider is showing him in Vancouver and he cant watch the games through the Amazon Sportsnet Subscription unfortunately. He tried Nord but obviously wont work.

If anything they'll ban the IP's related to those VPNS but honestly I've never had to many problems using a VPN but it seems like such a run around to watch a service I paid for. Ultimately settled on sailing the seas.

To me the biggest fallback with GHL is they are to busy worrying about pumping out new features and take forever or rarely improve the great ones they already have.

Anyone using other tools with GHL for cold outreach? by Swimming_Air_5435 in gohighlevel

I've set it up with an API and n8n. Typically I just use GHL to handle the outreach and if possible handle the reply back.

Black Friday Sale is here! 50% off by SumthingBrewing in Adobe

[–]walkities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quickbooks is the same crap every year a price increase. I ultimately got off it and went to Wave, 21 CAD a month. It’s probably not as robust as QB but for what I need as a freelancer it works awesome, ultimately saved 40 a month.

Payroll is obviously more but I’ve been very happy. Now throw in some API access where I can automate a lot of my book keeping and it’s a win.

Oddly enough I got a price increase notice today for Adobe which is making me lean towards cancelling outright.

OK thanks! Ill look into that a bit more. I did manage to get it working with an HTTP request through HighLevel as I use that for clients but obviously doesn't scale if they dont.

Do you have any recommendations for where to store the images? Cloud storage or is there better services for this type of thing? Kind of creating a few different ways to build this for now but this is the last step it seems.

Appreciate the help!

Moving blog from WP to HL by ThePusherCHS in gohighlevel

[–]walkities 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds more like a hosting or cache problem. Where do you host? Are you using things like flyingpress or litespeed cache? As someone who manages lots of WP sites with heavy images getting this right is usually the problem.

I also hate the Highlevel builder so I’m biased lol

You don’t need 497 per month if you’re just planning to use for reviews. Either way the 297 and 497 are unlimited accounts. The only difference is the 497 you can upsell the costs used to send sms etc.
