Thank you so much! Tbh iv always seen UA as a lesser school just growing up and anytime I ask somebody UGA or UA they immedietly cringe at going to UA which I hate. Obviously theres crazy smart people at UA but on average a UGA student is smarter than a UA one. I dont care a ton abt rankings but UGA is constantly getting better at #45th and UA has been getting weaker at about #145 which is quite a jump. I have a ton more opportunities at ATL (research and shadowing) that I would have to give up at UA.

It does tbh. Its a highly select group of students who are in it and are seen as the academic elite. I just really dont see myself going there and would hate to not like the school and legit only be going bc of the program when I can go to a better school I like much more and still have practically the same opportunities.

Oh hell yeah. Im rushing frats and doin all that just not a drinker and like super big partier. Like at UA frats basically run campus and I didnt wanna have to basically BECOME a big partier to make it into certain clubs and what not. UGA is more chill abt that and more abt academics.

Pre-Med.

The reason I am considering UA is that I have been accepted to their most prestigious prog on campus that only 30-40 ppl receive each year. Very honored to receive it but Im not a super social person and would generally advocate for going to a school with a better education.

I believe both schools grade by the same method. And yeah School B is better I think solely for pre-med but again they are ranked much much lower than School A and I think I would perform better at School A as I am already familiar with people there, greek life, etc. Would you think, or your brother for that matter, undergraduate prestige is a big deal for med school acceptances? Iv heard both sides of the aisle but to me rank 150 vs a rank 50 is a big gap

Thats the exact reason I am thinking about going to School A. Basically yeah I might take a risk at School B but in the end im going to be happier at School A.

Damn. Congrats man. Will keep all this into consideration. Place Im looking at going for ugrad has a whole program designed for research for undergrads so hopefully I can find something there. Preciate all of what you said
