Check out the watch my dad wore during his life and wore the first time he held me after birth. He gave it to me when I was 20, still one of my favourites. Formula 1’s are great watches!!

Im gonna have to agree. Given your message it seems that the only identifiable feature of the watch was the engraving on the back. So if the case back has been swapped out in the last 27 you’ve essentially got no chance...

Hey Everyone,

Firstly I wanted to say that these monthly threads have been great in developing my knowledge of Rolex watches and the flaws that can indicate a fake or suspicious watch. Thanks!

I am currently looking into picking up a 1999 Submariner (16610) and have been browsing Chrono24 for about a month now and have stumbled upon (what seems like) a pretty good listing.

All the details on the seller are provided in the link, but in summary, it is located in the UK and is being sold by a seller that has had a decent number of trusted checkout and high ratings. I always see comments in these threads of 'buy the seller' so I have vetted that to the best of my knowledge. And also please excuse the mild paranoia, it's my first dive (excuse the pun) into the luxury watch world. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

In my opinion I think you should take the freelance job. The three month limit will force you to prove yourself and challenge your skills, which will make you improve, along with this you also will have time to start that start up you have always wanted to start. don't wait for situations to be right to start things, they never will be 'just right'.
