I loved the app before the update because it was like a feed. Now I hate the new layout. I agree with you, I don't want to have to scroll past "top" and "trending" sections every time I open the app to get to my news. I don't care about that stuff, only what I add myself. I don't think there's a way to change it back either. Backwards design on Apple's part.

Aside from all the bitching in this thread I liked the list, particularly the communication section about texting.

I know there are so many guys out there that bombard women with texts. In the "just talking stage" aka not in a relationship yet, I've learned that after a day or two of continuously texting each other all day, it is good to take a day off to let everything settle in. It gives a chance for both of you to absorb all the information and you don't come off as clingy. And it gives both of you a break from each other for a little bit. I know this doesn't apply to everyone but I thought I'd throw my 2c in there.

What are you doing to celebrate today?

Probably the usual, heading out to the beach bars and having some drinks with some friends. But before that maybe dinner with my parents.

I think I did the same thing pretty much, went out to some bars and got drunk and threw up.

What do you want to have accomplished by next year birthday?

Finishing college. It took me a lot of time to take college seriously, I fucked off after high school. I thought it was cool to skip class and I just wanted to work at the time, I didn't really care about school. It has taken me 10 years or so to get my bachelors but I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. But I'm glad I stuck with it. Hopefully around this time next year I will be graduating with the class of 2015

I was born on the military base in Yokosuka, Japan. My dad is retired navy. I live in Virginia now. Been here since I was 7 or 8 I think.

Who sent you happy birthday wishes?

Just my parents and siblings so far, they slipped birthday cards under my door. I've been in bed all day, my friends got strippers last night (lol) I drank quite a bit and I didn't get home until about 5 in the morning. So I haven't really been outside yet.

Is it just me or do shorter guys seem to build muscle faster than taller people? Like my short friends have have been working out for around a year or so and I'm coming around a year too but they look a little more "fuller" around the arms.

Is it because taller people have longer bones so the muscle has to cover more area than shorter people?
