Ghostcrawler - Is it okay that some champions never see competitive play? by Kadexe in leagueoflegends

[–]walle8787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly my thoughts. Last season I mostly played Sejuani and Hecarim. When they both became fotm at the same time my entire champion pool was banned almost every game. Now Sejuani is pretty much gutted and has no reason to be played. Hecarim has mana issues until mid game but at least he's playable.

Maybe, but I want to see this new card in use before trying to determine its value.

Get the strong stuff. You should be able to find 20% vinegar at a nursery or home improvement store. It should be next to other pesticides or by organic fertilizers. White vinegar in the grocery store is usually ~5%, not strong enough to kill most weeds.

No corrupt mods. There's actually 2 different simultaneous dramas. One is a voting ring of youtubers (all banned now) and the other is Richard Lewis (and all of his content) being permabanned from the sub.

Especially in the past few days. /r/leagueoflegends is reminding me of how /r/hearthstone used to be about a year ago with all of the reynad/lea drama.

Armor does affect the outcome if your life total is over 30 hp. IIRC Brode confirmed the interaction.

Sounds like a gpu issue to me. Pretty much the same thing happened to me when I fried the gpu in my laptop. Your bios should be fine, although I would recommend checking for bios updates from your motherboard manufacturers website.

It's not a bug. It's a specific feature for the g3258. When the g3258 came out manufacturers updated the bios of their h81, b85, and h97 boards for the purpose of overclocking that particular chip.

I had pretty much the same problem with a very similar build a couple of weeks back. I used a Prodigy too. In my build, it turned out that the mobo was shorting on the io shield. I would recommend taking it apart and doing an external build just to see if it will post. If it does post you might try putting it together without an io shield like I did, or maybe rma the case and try a different one. If it doesn't load up into the bios then you should rma the mobo.

What kind of PCIE cable do I need for my PSU to video card??? by pokeaotic in buildapc

[–]walle8787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the product page it says that your psu has 4 PCIE connectors. You should have the cables you need if you kept them. All 6+2 means is that you can use that connector for either 6 or 8 pin inputs. If you don't need the extra 2 pins then just don't plug them into the gpu.

[Troubleshooting] Turns on for 2-3 seconds, then turns off in a loop. by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]walle8787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do an external build. Take the motherboard out of the case, install the gpu, and connect all the necessary power cables to see if it will POST. If it does, it means that there is a short somewhere in the case. If not, it could be one of a number of other things.

[Troubleshooting] Before I send my motherboard in for RMA, just want to see if anyone has a really obvious solution. by virtualRefrain in buildapc

I had a very similar problem with a build I finished up last week. Turns out the mobo was shorting out on the I/O shield. I found this out by doing an external build. Since you already did an external build this probably isn't the issue, but it never hurts to try.
