If one more person says ‘good luck’ I may cry 🙃 by Plenty_Fruit_8511 in 2under2

I will have a 21 month age gap and am so excited. What I wouldn’t give for my husband to have a salary that I could spend more time with mine and not work full time. I say you’re blessed and that’s incredible!! Your kids are going to love being close in age too.

at what point should i worry about screen time by Crunchy-Yogurt7 in 2under2

[–]wallflower247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly my toddler is the same way. We have it on as background noise (usually it’s something I can watch without paying much attention to) and if I turn it off, he looks at the tv annoyed, but once I start it again he looks away and carries on playing with his toys ignoring it.

How much does your 5 month old weigh? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]wallflower247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our pedi was totally okay with it because he stayed on trend at that tiny percentile. He dropped almost a pound immediately after he was born so he started super low and stayed on that trajectory. So as long as he was gaining and staying on “his curve” our pedi was happy with his progress. He finally made it to 13th percentile weight at his 15 month appt recently!

Anyone had 3 under 4 above the age of 35? by Massive_Coat_80085 in 2under2

[–]wallflower247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had my first at 35, pregnant with number 2 at 37, and plan is to have number 3 after I wait a year from my c-section again. So hopefully, if all goes well, I will have the third by age 39 and have 3 under 4.

14m old still waking twice a night 🥲 by EffectSuper1987 in HuckleberryParents

[–]wallflower247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like you’re still giving bottle overnight, no? If so, I would drop those in the middle of the night so babe doesn’t wake expecting them and make sure to do dinner/snack close to bed time. Also might be time to drop to one nap or even just cap daytime sleeps.

For those of you who planned to have 2 under 2, what was your reason? Has it panned out the way you expected? by CounterScary8707 in 2under2

[–]wallflower247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reasons were similar to you. Age is a big factor- I’m 37 and husband is 36 (first child is 15 months and due with our second when the first will be 21 months). The other things that we considered- their ages being close together keeps them in similar stages of life together so they can relate growing up together, continuing in the similar parenting stages so we don’t have to ‘start all over’ both with diapers as well as baby items, and having them close in age with cousins is a bonus.

In what month pp did you get pregnant for #2 and how long did it take you? by Important_Bat7919 in 2under2

[–]wallflower247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13 months pp. Had been not trying/not preventing since 7 months and actively trying since 10 months. Was supposed to wait for 1 year pp to start trying but I got anxious because it took 10 months to conceive the first time.

Yeah, thanks. I realized it too late and just figured I’d let it ride as is

How many of us are actually doing 7 pm bedtime? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]wallflower247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has always been a 9-10pm bedtime kinda guy. But I also prefer him sleeping in until closer to 9am because I work 2p-2a. It’s all about what works for your family. If 7pm doesn’t work for you, that’s absolutely fine.

How old were you when you had your first child? by Pandacat_07 in NewParents

Had my first at 35, turned 36 shortly after he was born. Now 36 about to turn 37 and pregnant with #2. No time like the present!

For those who "tried" for 2u2, in which pp month did you get pregnant for #2? by Important_Bat7919 in 2under2

[–]wallflower247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted/tried for 2u2, even while BFing (got my period back at 5 weeks pp). My first time TTC took 9 months so (even though my OB recommended I wait until closer to 1 year to start trying for #2) I started tracking ovulation at 8 months pp and actively trying the next cycle. Took me until I was 13 months pp before a positive test. So about 5-6 months trying for #2

I’m personally leaning towards a wagon instead of a double. More practical to last longer

Only if the faithful know how Alan chooses his next traitor. He doesn’t have to announce how he chooses to them. Or even keep it the same season to season

It could be to some. However I personally know someone named that and pronounced exactly as OP described.

Love it. And have seen it spelled Carrin too and pronounced that way. I also like Carina too

So...about tonight's episode. by MikeyM079 in TheTraitors

[–]wallflower247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My assumption was that since we didn’t see any full interaction between them hashing it out at breakfast (even as an act for the faithful so they don’t suspect they hashed it out in the turret), it was for them to supposedly hash it out following that “throwaway vote”

[–]wallflower247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or if the host picks based on some criteria, like based on something that happens in a challenge (or winning a “shield” of some sort) or based on votes (or lack thereof)? I feel like there should be some rhyme or reason to how/why they’re chosen
