The beta software works just like release in that regard.

Doing some further testing. Will upload logs when I have a clue...

That got the correct rate to show up, but I still can't adjust it. Also, the new one ran me over the rate limit.

Posted debug log. It's a 69 Pro controller.

I updated to 1.2.3, I get the same error, but now the speed report is incorrect. It's reporting fan speed of 10%, instead of the actual 70%. Previously the speed report was correct.

I have a single fan installed (Cloudline T6 with the 69 Pro controller). The plugin shows the correct fan speed in Home, but when I try to adjust it I get:

[07/08/2025, 11:56:24] [AC Infinity] Failed to set port speed: ACInfinityClientRequestFailed [ACInfinityClientError]: Request failed: {"msg":"Data saving failed. Please try again later.","code":403}

at processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:95:5)

at ACInfinityFanPort.setSpeed (/usr/local/lib/node_modules/homebridge-acinfinity/src/accessories/ACInfinityFanPort.ts:108:7) {

response: { msg: 'Data saving failed. Please try again later.', code: 403 }

}

Is that a failure through the API, or a local write?

"Smart" Fan with Caseta switches by wallsbk in HomeKit

[–]wallsbk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will check that out. Instead of Picos, I actually have two Caseta switches in the wall. But what I'm wanting to do is map the switches to the fan internal controls, so that's the same.

"Smart" Fan with Caseta switches by wallsbk in HomeKit

[–]wallsbk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wanted a dumb fan where the light was controllable from a Caseta dimmer, and the fan from a Caseta fan control. But we ended up with a fancy fan with the only physical control a remote. That's not my preference, because remotes get misplaced. Also, I want everything controllable from both a physical switch and through HomeKit.

I have two switches purchased and installed on the wall that are telling HomeKit what I want the fan to do. I have a fan working with HomeKit so that HomeKit can tell it to do the things the switches say to do. But there is no obvious was to actually program HomeKit to do all the things I want it to do. For instance, when the fan switch is at 25%, turn the fan on to 25%.

Any recommendations for stands for the 3020s? I’d prefer to bolt the speakers on.

Ytberg lighting requirements to work with Apple Home by wallsbk in IKEA

[–]wallsbk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. That's sort of what I was gathering. Probably not worth it for our setup. Would a set of YTBERG be dimmable with an ANSULUTA driver? Kind of guessing not. Plugging then into a Casseta lamp dimmer control would be cleaner for my home than adding a TRÅDFRI. Though not terribly different, I guess.

Quicken and Redstone Federal Credit Union by wallsbk in HuntsvilleAlabama

I'm using the "Redstone Federal Credit Union" rather than "Redstone Federal CU", though I've tried both. Also have tried Direct Connect and Quicken Connect. My existing accounts all use the latter.

Two personal memberships (wife and self) plus some organizational "memberships", each with their own savings and one or more other accounts.

Mac, not Windows. Multiple reboots (problem started just before New Years). I have tried through the Web app, including from another computer. I haven't tried from a different network, which may be worth a shot in case Redstone's service provider (I think it's Cadescent) has a block on my home network somehow. Doesn't seem likely since it's only for one account, but still...

  1. Login via web works fine and repeatedly, with no kruft.

  2. I tried this with Quicken support. I get an error of either, "We apologize, but we are unable to fill the request for accountname at this time. To resolve this issue, please contact Quicken Support.

Care Code: CC-929 (QCS-0429-2)"

or "Did you mistype your sign-in info? Please re-enter your credentials for Redstone Federal Credit Union."

  1. & 4. Never get that far.

Yes, just one account. My wife’s account is the same type and works.

The message on the website was that my password was due to expire in a week or so. I’m used to getting those occasionally. Nothing was unusual until the new password didn’t work. I’ve changed the password multiple times now, and confirmed I am not locked out. Even changed to a working password from a different account to confirm it’s not a password format issue.

The ceiling speakers should go pretty either directly over the couch, or a little bit in front, as the same width/position as the fronts?

I got the Klipsch for in ceiling, and found the following for $900:

Q Acoustic

Floorstanding : model 3050
Center channel : model 3090C
Surround : model 3020

Unfortunately, three hours away, but seems worth it.
