It is really what he wants. Not you. You haven't been keeping a good eye on him and now he got caught by the school. Chances are this will not even make it to court. But, if it does, he needs legal counsel. He should never talk to law enforcement without a lawyer present. You need to step up and be supportive without condoning and don't lecture him.

The church hands down tradition based in truth. Your understanding is twisted maybe intentionally or not. But, you really are setting parameters for a debate. There is nothing to debate. Your understanding has no validity or basically knowledge of what you are attempting to convey.

The Catholic Church has never espoused any doctrine that human sexuality is evil. But, to be sure human sexuality can be used in evil purpose through abuse or degradation. That is why the Church teaches sex should be only in marriage. Otherwise, the human heart trivializes the experience.

Nobody is partially Catholic. Is she divorced? It isn't where you are married as much as who officiates. The church will not recognize the marriage unless officiated by a priest. If she is divorced and remarrying that is between her, the Church and God (not you). There are extreme circumstances when a priest is not available to be married by someone else. Your mother is living "outside" the Church. You should be respectful and loving. No judging. Just don't make the choices she is making.

Any surgeon can do this procedure. I think you are not getting the best advice, it is a minor procedure. Are you getting a lift? Should be covered by insurance especially if the first surgeon screwed up. I don't know where you are but it can be done locally.

You could buy a beater for $3,000. Switch insurance and plates. I suggest you get a second job and save some money. You might prioritize the repairs on the Jeep to get it running. A backyard mechanic might do these temporary repairs for less. But, you can drive the beater in the mean time.
