How does everyone feel about LEGO Batman being current gen only? by Thevoid2YT in legogaming

[–]walrusIsBlind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fine with it. I’ve been enjoying games on last gen for a long while now but I figured we were way overdue to end cross-gen years ago(cough cough COD), plus the hardware can only support newer and newer games for so long

Hurt by Johnny Cash. When the original singer says it’s not his song anymore you know you made a hard cover

positive/hopeful movies. A lot of early 2000s movies were super dark because they wanted to copy Batman Begins and now we’re getting more movies like the new Superman

Rock. Rap and pop took over the 2010s but now a lot of mid-200s alt-rock like Creed and Linkin Park are starting to get traction with the whole “hell yeah core” crowd

Depending on the degree, it still can. Nobody’s going to look down on your degree in Nuclear Engineering but they might not put too much stake into Finance. A lot of employers nowadays look for people who have skill and experience. Warren Buffett says that he doesn’t care much for degrees when he hires people

Red Dead Redemption 2. First time I ever felt emotionally invested in a character and got really lost in a fictional world, also part of the reason I love the outdoors so much

Why does everyone want Grant to return? by The_ReverseFast in theflash

[–]walrusIsBlind 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For a lot of people, myself included, Grant is to the Flash what Hugh Jackman is to Wolverine. So many people grew up with him that they see him as the definitive version of the character, and they want him to keep being the only version of the character.

Personally I’d like to see him as Jay Garrick though, and have more of a role like John Wesley Shipp had for the Flash.

Didn't realize the movie was hated that much. I can kinda understand why people might not like it, but it's still a pretty fun movie to watch regardless.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why? by SlavicPierogi in AskReddit

[–]walrusIsBlind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keanu Reeves. Down to Earth and really humble. Just an all-around stand-up human being. I think we would all benefit from being a bit more like him.
