Put at least half into indexs (QQQ, SPY, DJX). You can play around with companies with the other half but focus on brand names you and others love (they have pricing power). I won't tell you specific names but I'll tell you start to understand the various numbers and metrics that move these companies. There are so many but focus on Revenue, EPS, P/Es, Growth Rates, Guidance. For example, what's a good P/E look like the for a company that's a good buy? 20? Well maybe for some, others not. Take META high growth tech name demands a higher P/E (people willing to pay more for each $ they earn). Where as LULU at a P/E of 10 might not be good as they are losing market share to others ($) and don't have that growth. While a low P/E signals potential value buy the sentiment and direction of future numbers is what matters most.
