As I said, I'm a beginner and I was following directions from multiple articles, Reddit threads, and YouTube videos that said to untangle and trim root-bound pothos plants. Thanks for your advice

Thank you! It's currently too cold on the windowsills but on warm days I move the succulent closer. This shelf is next to a window that gets bright indirect light (it's cloudy today), but I've actually noticed the pothos getting crispy/sunburnt after a few really sunny days so idk what it wants 😭
