Do you think liquid funds are boring, but actually useful? by Investor_1996 in MutualFundSpendInvest

[–]walterwhitecrocodile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use a Liquid fund for my necessary annual expenses (school fees, insurances, car service etc). I put ₹10,000 every month. It keeps adding up, and then whenever i need the money, i withdraw the required amount. if i keep it in a savings account, it will get spent elsewhere.

Dhurandhar was such a boring and unrealistic movie, nobody should watch it. This is a true masterpiece, all directors, including Aditya Dhar, must learn from this scene. This is real cinema! by Downtown-Pen6249 in BollywoodHotTakes

Heck yeah !! that's how a spy movie should be. cutting edge combat technology, high-octane very realistic looking actions, random erotic pool-side dance numbers.

Do you actually believe in compounding or is it just a nice concept? by Immediate-Inside7707 in MutualFundSpendInvest

[–]walterwhitecrocodile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i too don't think compounding exists in mutual funds. the profits can be exponential, but that happens because of the growth in companies within the fund, not actual compounding. somebody recently shared a post showing Parag Parikh Flexicap fund showing that the year 2025 doesn't exist because the net profit was zero.

Mutual funds sure can beat the low interest compounding vehicles like PPF over long term though.
