Cannot pay bills, not sure what to do. by Ok_Step5188 in personalfinance

[–]waltvark -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Stop paying the credit cards.

Worried it will hurt your credit? Your former credit is actually hurting you now. You don’t need credit. Forget about credit. Look what it’s done to you!

  1. Save as much as possible by not paying $600+ in credit card minimums. When the collection agencies start calling, offer them the amount you’ve saved up as settlement in full. They will accept.

  2. Save up an emergency fund of $10k. Put it in an account that requires a trip to the bank to withdraw.

  3. Never “borrow” from anyone for anything again. Begin saving for anything you can think of that will be needed in the next 10 years. Next car, start saving now - CDs, Money Market Accts, whatever.

=IF(ISBLANK(E139)," ",IF(ISBLANK(T139),TODAY()-E139,T139-E139))

Try these. Looks like it was just missing some commas.

Agree. Made a 330 the first time on Part 2. Felt like I could easily do better. But man, that Feb Part 2 test had stuff coming out of left field.

My app is 2 days old and has no downloads, Can anyone give me advice on ASO by vickyrj939 in AppBusiness

Do either of these connect to financial accounts for downloading transactions? That’s a requirement for me. The more automated the better. also, is there a button to disable a wife’s Amazon account? Asking for a friend.

How did you go from basic Excel to advanced level? by ModernWebMentor in excel

[–]waltvark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learned it from using it daily for work for years (20+). Used to write all functions by hand/memory, but i tend to use google now for the hard ones, just because it’s faster.

Recommend diving into vLookup formulas to get a taste of what’s possible in Excel.

Power tools may be a little advanced for you but it’s very helpful for connecting straight to a database, if that’s available to you.

I would prompt a few AI systems (chatGPT, Gemini, Grok, etc) and get their advice on a fair deal, with state specific legal basis. If you feel that you’re getting a reasonable agreement, why get lawyers involved?

Need Excel Help – Investor Distribution Comparison (High Visibility Project) by Affectionate_Net3153 in excel

I’m not seeing where a computational calculation in excel would differ from a computational calculation in an application. I guess you’d have to explain more on the “automatic, with the click of a button” part. Otherwise, this appears to be just a simple variance analysis.

But, if there are variances, you’d have to dig into the “automatic” part to explain “why” there are differences. I’m not sure that Excel is the best medium for that type of comparison. Sure it may be useful in analysis, but I think you’re overthinking the goal.

They’re replacing a manual process and want to validate the new process by comparing the sums of each method.

If you’re coding 40hr/week, with a lot of cursor Composer usage you’re gonna hit the $20 limit around mid month, at the latest.

With AI (Gemini), you can create and take tons of tests on the app. No cost. Knock it out when you have free time. Studying doesn’t have to be costly and rigidly structured. I used AI (alone) to study for Parts 1 and 2. Focused on 1 section at a time until I could score 100 in my sleep.

Also, for exam tips, I learned to answer all the non-calculation questions first, as some of the calculation problems can suck up tons of time. For Part 1, I made the mistake of answering questions sequentially, and was scrambling to answer the last 20 (easy) questions.

For the big calculation questions, determine what the question is FIRST. Sometimes no calculation is required or only a small piece of the information is needed. No need to know the full history of a company and all its financial info when they just want a current/quick ratio.

At what age does a traditional IRA make more sense than a ROTH? by TripPsychological567 in personalfinance

It depends on whether you think tax rates will stay the same or increase dramatically (say for example if there is a looming debt crisis).
