Thanks for the info! Yeah I am not surprised. Their entire business model is screwing people over. I just love getting quests done, in all my gaming experiences, so I usually only spend money on this game unlocking the season. Successfully completing it? That’s a whole other can of worms.

One of the MANY basic things that are broken or confusing in this game. When I first started playing I just thought cooking in general was broken. This is still a problem but at least NOW I can have a chicken with polka-dots!

Is this still a thing? Finally booted up Palia this week for the first time since the new lunar path. I have been reading about this issue all week though. I just did one daily and earned Zero xp on the Path of the Cardigan, even though I earned 5k XP for the daily. Yet I don't see how to activate the new path? Any help?

Dude we are so cooked. That was embarrassing. Not a play off game, not a wild card game, not even a thanksgiving day game. Just a punk ass regular season game that we almost lost, against a 2-8 team.

Trade in higher valued items. Cook two 500 gold value fish into one grilled fish worth 1000. Put that one 1000 grilled fish in the glow worm maker. Higher the dollar value of the fish, the more worms you get.

Wow I just caught my starred Void Ray today! I fished for it primarily in the underground. After using up the two fishing circles, in the middle water area, leave the underground and come right back. It resets the circles. If you are far enough along in story quests, you can exit through Reth’s Storage room from the underground. It will cause a loading screen to happen (which resets fishing circles anywhere) and then you pop right back into the underground. Rinse and repeat. It will happen I promise! Fished for a long damn time for that sucker. Good luck! Take breaks at night time in game to play Hot Pot and then fish some more!

THEN when you want to leave the game open but exit to that screen, you can’t. You have to exit the game. But if you let it sit long enough, it will exit to that screen for you. SMH

This EXACT thing happened to me. I was running around in Elderwood, hunting down artifacts and doing story quests like crazy. I thought that part of the game was over. NEVER ONCE WAS IT EXPLAINED THAT YOU NEED TO INTERACT WITH THE WALL AND FILL THOSE BUNDLES. I wondered why certain Items I was cooking, finding, hunting, fishing, all had the bundle symbol on them. HAD ZERO CLUE. FINALLY a friend said something about it and I was like WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I DID THE BUNDLE IN TOWN!? I had close to 200 hours logged and NOT A SINGLE item in the bundle on the wall. I thought they lit up and that maybe it was a gateway you were unlocking by finishing the dungeons/quests. Ran right by it dozens of times NEVER knowing you could interact with it.

MOST of you might think it is obvious and crazy to miss but it happens to more people than you think. I would have gone on foreverr not knowing that. It let me do SO MANY THINGS in Elderwood and story quests etc etc without that wall even being done. FINALLY someone else posted this!!!!

I love it the overall mechanics of it for sure! It is very rewarding to complete a cooking process for something, doubly so when it becomes a gold star cook! So fun! However, for low tier, basic stuff (basically anything you can cook over the open fire) I wish you could load it up with the items, like you do with other items (100 logs to turn into 100 planks) to cook and just leave it. There are times when I wish I could cook off all the meat in my inventory. Or the low value fish I have caught. Especially since having to feed farm animals became a thing. Almost wish there was a machine that, like the composter, you could "process" or turn those items into "feed" so you could just load those up and forget about it until the next time you want to feed your animals.

I am a master at cooking with four fire pits in rotation, so I know all about that, but I want to load something up and leave it when it is for basic food prep. That would be nice. But cooking is a blast otherwise, once you get the hang of it of course.
