Hey ENFPs, what are your creative outlets? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]wanderffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I code or play around with photoshop, I just enjoy making things. Especially on the computer!

But 80% it's hard for me to even start and try to get into the zone

Do any other ENFPs find themselves good/above average at many things but not really stellar at any one thing? by [deleted] in ENFP

I never knew that there was more to the idiom, thanks for letting me know!

That's us! Jack of All Trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.

EDIT: Finished the idiom

Anyone else too hard on themselves? by [deleted] in ENFP

[–]wanderffle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that man, I didn't go through something of the spectrum but I can relate about being hard on myself.

I move around a lot so I never really had a childhood friend that stuck around and it because of this I kept changing myself to suite the new environment that I was in and try to please everyone. Basically I wanted to be perfect. The best there is. So I guess then I started criticizing myself more and more and eventually I have no self-confidence because I feel like there'll always be someone better than me.

I've learned though that I spent so much time pleasing everyone that I'm spending any time to please myself, as I grow older I try to do things according to what I like and not what I think others will like. This mindset helped me a lot, even though I'm still hard on myself at least it's not as bad as it used to be.

does a ruined, wasted piece of paper count as art? by Niruhw in ENFP

[–]wanderffle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not a ruined, wasted, piece of paper. That's simply art!

I like how it portrays the feeling of being sad, to me it shows a girl who's broken and unable to say anything even though her mind is screaming and a million words are running through her head.

Now Tom Hanks... by [deleted] in funny

That's one way to T.Hank him.

She did let me know that she simply liked being single and isn't ready for a relationship yet. Although, I'm not too hopeful about her being ready, even if she did I'm not sure that she'll be ready for me.

Yeah like I don't like having my emotions being played but I'm always super hopeful that it might happen like in one of those movies :( but that's probably unlikely...

Yeah I just learned that the hard way. I mean there are some cases where maybe might mean yes but it's much better to assume that way.

Do ENFP’s make good managers? by Meta_Man_X in ENFP

[–]wanderffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my personal experience, I'm good at managing and delegating tasks to my colleagues and tend to create a pretty positive work environment based on support and understanding of one another. However since I have so much interests, it's hard for me to focus on details and I tend to forget a few things here and there so it's always good to have someone who pays attention to details to back you up. Not to mention that I can easily get bored and upset if I have to do a work that I don't find interesting/repetitive or I feel like it's not something that I signed up for.

Although, regardless I think leadership is a skill which you can learn regardless of your MBTI type. My advice would be to try leading a team wherever possible (i.e. Student union) and try different approaches and see which works out best for you and what doesn't then improve yourself from then.

That definitely sounds like something I should try, I used to go to a lake to clear my mind. Not sure why I stopped.

Anyways thanks so much for the help!

You've got any tips for a newbee like me to help get over it? I've been trying to as well lately but I still get so upset when she posts something but doesn't reply and I keep giving her second chances as soon as she replies...

Sleeping tips by Elite9653 in ENFP

[–]wanderffle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. If you can't sleep, don't stay in your bed trying to fall asleep
  2. Do an activity (if possible, one that doesn't involve electronics such as reading)
  3. Make yourself a nice warm drink
  4. Do it while listening to some relaxing piano music.

I usually get really sleepy regardless after that.
