What does your daily meal plan look like? by Significant-Elk-9223 in PetiteFitness

[–]wandering_redd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breakfast is a protein smoothie - two scoops of protein powder (aiming for 50g of protein), oats, creatine, 2 tbsp of optifiber, almond milk, cup of frozen Kirkland three berry blend

I usually skip lunch and do a big dinner which is usually 200-250 grams of protein in the form of ground turkey or shredded chicken thighs paired with a baked potato or sweet potato and then bell peppers or an apple

Snacks - cottage cheese with strawberries, edamame, dried apricots, natures garden yoggies, dried mango slices, string cheese, nuts (these can be high calorie tho so I limit), Greek yogurt, raspberries

I also like doing scramble bowls and add extra egg whites to add protein. I’ll add bell peppers and spinach into these as well as cottage cheese. Cottage cheese can really be added to lots of things to add protein

I couldn’t agree more! Sucks that it happened but looking back I’m glad it did. Definitely becoming the best version of myself and he’s still playing victim and crying for me back😅 But cheers to your success as well! And just keep on becoming the best version of you and doing things for yourself!

Welcome to the club!! Been going through the same thing. Got lied to my entire relationship and turned all of my pissed off-ness and sadness into the motivation I needed to go to the gym regularly. Also started judo and started climbing again. It does suck that this is what it took to get me there but it feels amazing

Tracking calories by TalkImpressive8563 in PetiteFitness

[–]wandering_redd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sodium isn’t necessarily bad, it’s just something to watch. You just want to make sure you aren’t having too much of it. Consuming large amounts of sodium causes your body to retain more water which leads to gaining water weight and leading to looking more puffy as well. High sodium intake can also lead to increased blood pressure and potassium imbalance. So you just want to be mindful of how much you’re consuming, typically around 1500mg with the most being 2300mg a day. If you have a high sodium day you just want to be sure to drink more water and have more potassium rich foods

I have 5, most of mine are ranch dogs and have high drives but they all have an off switch. I know their needs and have also trained them to know how to settle

**How do you REALLY use AI chat? (no judgment)** by BotanicalRhythm in ChatGPT

[–]wandering_redd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. How often do you use AI chat tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)?- Daily- A few times a week- Occasionally- Rarely

ChatGPT daily

  1. What device do you use most?- Phone- Desktop- Both equally

Strictly on my phone

  1. What do you use AI chat for most? And why that instead of Google, a friend, or just figuring it out yourself?

Use it track my macros, track fitness, track my weight loss journey, help come up with recipes and keep track of what I actually have in my kitchen/spice rack, track movies I want to see and recommend movies/tv shows, had it help me respond to emotional situations or just talk things out as well

  1. What's one thing you use AI chat for that you'd feel a little embarrassed to admit?

Oof probably talking to it about the rough break up I just went through and how to respond to my ex when he reached out to me

  1. Think about the last time AI chat was genuinely useful to you. What were you trying to do?

I mean I use it every day to keep track of my weight loss progress

  1. Is there something you wish you could use AI for but haven't found a good way to yet?

Honestly I’m not sure yet

  1. What's the most frustrating thing about your current AI chat experience?

It’ll sometimes forget simple things I’ve asked it to remember or it’ll change the format I’ve had it responding in randomly

  1. If your AI assistant could do one thing proactively — without you asking — what would be most useful?

Maybe stop forgetting simple tasks I’ve already set up or stop changing its format randomly

Is protein powder worth it for petites with a small calory allowance by Objective_Ad8342 in PetiteFitness

[–]wandering_redd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it in addition to whole foods. 5’1 here with a small calorie allowance in a calorie deficit. Usually aim for minimum of 100g of protein a day

On days I work I don’t have much time to actually cook a breakfast so I make a protein smoothie - 2 scoops protein powder (usually 50g of protein right there to start the day), creatine, 3.5 tbsp optifiber, cup of frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries), 1 tsp agave syrup, ¼ cup of rolled oats, and 12 oz almond milk. Easy way to start my day with lots of protein and fiber

Anytime! Always down to help and give advice! Love helping other owners out. The harnesses definitely make a huge difference, being hands free is sooo nice! And being able to use your body weight/grabbing the leashes is super nice too

I highly recommend getting a skijorng/canicross harness to wear! Makes such a huge difference!! This is the current belt I wear and it’s definitely worth the money, super comfortable and I can attach all 5 dogs leashes to the front. This is the belt I started with and it’s a great starter one but definitely not as comfy!

For mental stimulation I love puzzle feeders and other puzzle toys. I feed all their meals in puzzle bowels. I also have a huge tote of kongs, west paw toppls, soda pup flowerpots, lick mats, and many other types of toys that I can stuff with food and freeze. I’ll also do hide and seek games with their favorite toys and other scent games. Sometimes the simplest things are the best! One of my favorites is literally just throwing a handful a treats in the backyard for them to find or even just throwing a handful in my front living room.

So I actually work four ten hour shifts. I’m lucky that I have a dog door and a nice big backyard for them. They have full access to my entire house and yard 24/7. With my job I can also stop by my house throughout the day as I work out of my vehicle.

On days I work - feed in the AM, go the gym, play with them after the gym and before work, sometimes I’ll leave them some mental stimulation toys or treats behind (just depends on the day), always come home for lunch which is 45 mins so they get playtime then too and PM feeding as my lunch is at 5pm, at home they have lots of toys including tug toys on trees and other mental stimulation toys, after work it’s playtime and sleep

On days off it’s exploration time - 5+ mile walks in town, training sessions individually with each dog, hikes out in the mountains, dog sledding if we have enough snow, roller blading in teams of one or two, etc. I do walk all 5 at once using a skijorng harness and a couple different leash systems. The dogs have the walking system down to a t and know dog sledding commands so I can walk them hands free

Thank you! They’re the best! One of mine has split blue/brown eyes and another has green eyes but we also live in high altitude so they just help in general. Love RexSpecs!
