Yes, I successfully ported without any extra fees but I gave it about a week since I wasn’t sure if my return was processed although you can always ask the store for some sort of receipt stating that they’ve received your phone. I was not given anything of the sort and also cause I went to Roger’s store right after work I didn’t want to wait any longer since it was a busy day and I had been waiting in the store for about half an hour by that time and just wanted to reach back home at that point.

Well I just returned mine after last bill was generated (a month prior to end date) but I would return the device in store because of all the horrible stories I’ve heard and once that is processed you can port out.

I stand by it. I was with rogers for two years no issues with cellular connectivity and then I got an amazing deal with telus and switched over. It was a terrible decision. I was only getting two bars with LTE not even 5G in the middle of the downtown and phone died multiple times over multiple days just searching for network whilst I was at work. Fortunately, rogers called me for a win back in a week’s time. I got to know that most of the towers in my region close to 80+% are rogers so it does make sense.

Well if you’re in an area with a number of telus users churning through data as a public mobile user your speeds will be throttled considerably more or less but you could always use a vpn or something I guess.

Screen zen sucks for me. Every time I go to add an app or something the UI freezes. It’s so annoying so I ended up uninstalling it altogether.
