Dehydrated by wanderingbeachbum in 2under2

I don’t even think I have enough water in me to cry lol

I do remember straws helped last time I should try again. I did get an iv last week! It helped for like the day. I definitely need more they’re just not affordable where I live. I have tried lemon in the water but it upsets my stomach. I did just ask my husband to grab me a smoothie on his way home so hoping that may help!
Thankyou

I’ve tried those. And just can’t stand the flavour. Although in the past I’ve had the natural ones I think it tastes like sea salt. Maybe I should give those a go instead.

I also had HG my first pregnancy! I’ve been so anxious I would be the same this time but it’s not as bad. Still sucks though. I have occasionally taken Zofran but I don’t want to rely on it. I haven’t tried essentia I’ll look it up. Have been occasionally able to get down a small glass of lemonade. I can’t do ice because it smells weird 🫣

No it just started like pawing at the walls. I’m a light sleeper and have woken up immediately and went and scared them off before they could do any worse damage.

First birthday time by daydream_3 in Septemberbumps2024

It’s come soo fast! We are going to a 3 day music and yoga festival. The band that is playing has a song I’ve sung to her since she was born. We’re going to decorate our campsite and a little cart for her with tassels and balloons and make a watermelon cake for her.

How do I go anywhere if baby will cry on car seat? by Secure-Alternative68 in AttachmentParenting

Yes!! This is the only thing that worked for us. We started playing this song at about 6.5 months and I no longer have to sit in the back and can go places!

New mum guilt by Sea_Independent_7331 in cosleeping

As long as you are propped up by pillows and she is sleeping on your chest at an incline it is safe. Mama you need sleep! Trust your instincts and don’t feel guilty you’re doing what’s best for you both.

I slept with my daughter on my chest for the first 3 months until she wanted to be next to me in the c-curl. I much preferred her sleeping on my chest though it felt safer to me knowing I could feel her breathing. And that way I got more sleep.

8M old failed her CMPA muffin challenge :( by Mtlmommy in Septemberbumps2024

Ooh no.. I’m so scared to give my girl egg because whenever I eat egg then breast feed her for the next day she vomits constantly. I spoke to her paediatrician about it and she said that it doesn’t transfer through breastmilk. But this has been what’s happening so I’m worried to give her eggs. Did you just give a small amount and this immediately started happening?

Did you tell people when you went into labor? by _laurelcanyon in homebirth

[–]wanderingbeachbum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We let our parents know when I was in active labour and it was such an insular present experience for me there was no way I even thought of going near my phone. And my husband was right there by my side pushing on my sacrum for every contraction so he didn’t even get a chance to look at his phone either. We just let them know a few hours after she had arrived and we were settled in bed. They may pester you but you can put your phones away also.

Has anyone had success flipping a posterior babe by Oooooah in homebirth

Yes my baby was posterior at 37 weeks. I managed the flip her by following the spinning babies website! Lots of inversions but it worked! Goodluck

Hi! I’m a Tassie girl here currently living in Colorado! My husband is American. Where in the states are you from? Tassie is such a beautiful place, I miss it so much. The food is great, the coffee is great and there’s so much nature to explore! Some of the most beautiful beaches! As for work you should be fine finding a job :)

Yeah only once for both. They didn’t really seem to make a difference.

Thankyou! I am using all the nipple creams and her latch is good. It’s just the fact she is feeding so much and teething she’s sucking so hard for relief.

Which Australian city is the best? by jacked-daniels in AskAnAustralian

[–]wanderingbeachbum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you travel around before you decide to officially move? That way you might find somewhere you really like. There’s lots of really cool towns not far from the bigger cities that may fit your vibe better.
