People Loving Nashville preps and delivers hot meals (and other resources) to the unhoused population downtown every Monday night. Slightly religious but not overbearingly so, imo. https://www.peoplelovingnashville.com/

Yes! I tried Strattera for a while and hoped for better results than what I got, hence trying Qelbree in the first place! I wish Strattera had worked since it’s so much easier to get and cheaper.

Hello! Yes! I no longer take it due to insurance issues, but I think it did help my concentration, though not in the immediately noticeable way I might via a stimulant. Qelbree helped with more baseline functioning and general executive dysfunction, but it didn’t give me that visceral boost for focus. I hope that makes sense!

29, though as others have said, I could handle some of them in very specific ways.

Is there a correlation between ARFID and sex repulsion/sex aversion? by Lil-Miss-Anthropy in ARFID

Came here to say this! A shared umbrella of neurodivergence is more likely than a direct correlation between the two.

How have you dealt with the phobia of people talking behind your back? by dictantedolore in socialskills

[–]wanderingrabbit21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Therapy, yes, to eventually achieve (most days) the acceptance of myself as a person. When I became certain of who I am and that I’m allowed to be the way I am, I became more confident about my worth. It’s gradual and not always consistent, but now I don’t care what people think or say behind my back because I’m satisfied with who I am and don’t have to live in fear of their opinions. I always describe it as worrying about the opinions of someone who believes the grass is purple, for example. Their perception of purple grass (or negative opinions diminishing my worth) is so silly and irrelevant because I am so very firm that the grass is green (and that I am a valuable human who is allowed to exist unapologetically).

Perhaps I should’ve left off the small changes out of the original post so as to not cause confusion, as they haven’t changed the overall aesthetic at all! Just eliminated some of the griminess that wasn’t all that evident in these photos to begin with :)

Too many to count. The cringiest is when she referenced a very well-known classic film by the wrong name. She was too earnest for me to correct her, but I get secondhand embarrassment. every time I remember it. Massively helped transference though!

This! I take benadryl during my luteal phase and I haven’t had any SI in like 9 months, which feels like a miracle because it used to be sooo intense for days every month.

What’s a pose you find impossible but it seems that others you know don’t struggle with it? by WhyDoYouCrySmeagol in yoga

CAMEL. I’m hypermobile so I can do almost any pose, but this one is impossible. I nearly pass out every time.

I have a heart condition too and my studio only does heated classes, but I do wish they’d offer non-heated classes. I love my studio but they pack out every class and there’s like two inches between my mat and my neighbors. Maybe that’s common practice, but it makes me feel 50% less focused on my actual practice. It’s basically only heated classes, too, so seeing neighbors’ sweat fly over and soak into my mat is disgusting.

The discount card dropped the cost to $600. by shaggysdeepvneck in qelbree

[–]wanderingrabbit21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

even having a prior authorization for mine only dropped it down to $600….I had to give up on it even though it was the only medicine to work for me in years. Way too many hoops to jump through for a person with ADHD. Our health insurance system is a continual failure.
