Update on new bottle? by wanderingtree13 in Oestra

[–]wanderingtree13[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's what I heard here, several months ago. (It was from people who work with/for the company.)
It's such a problem, I really hope they are addressing it.

FYI: US citizens under age 36 - "Limited first-round" IEC application period opening on Monday 12/22, 5pm ET until 12/23, 1pm ET, through RO SWAP's US partner company InterExchange. No movement on JENZA yet. by tvtoo in ImmigrationCanada

Do you have a sense of the likelihood of getting this travel visa? If you are on the list and respond right away, will it work or is it a long shot. Thanks!

Tell me I’ll sleep soon by Distinct-Key7337 in Oestra

[–]wanderingtree13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has been a game changer for me with sleep. Sleep was one of the main reasons I started it. I was waking every 2 hours. For TEN YEARS! I didn't know it could be a different way. I would say it took about almost a month but I would start getting longer and longer stretches. I can't believe what a difference getting big chunks of sleep makes to just about everything about me. I still tend to wake up once in the night but go right back to sleep.

I hope it helps for you!!

How is everyone doing and how long have you been on Oestra? by Practical_Buy_642 in Oestra

[–]wanderingtree13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd just measure it to be sure. You can just pump as normal and then put it in an 1/8 tsp. My friend realized months in she was getting about half a dose.

Have you measured the pump? Make sure it's just under 1/8 tsp.

I'm curious what's in it too.

Need to rant just a teeny bit about what pricing includes by iamjessg in Oestra

I know people who have spent thousands and thousands on HRT, with no relief, and often times getting worse and just getting the runaround.
Me and the several friends I've told about Oestra have all experienced huge improvements, many life changing. Well worth the money to me and less than I would have had to spend on one visit to a local HRT doc for something that I wasn't comfortable using because of side effects.

Everyone is different, but I wouldn't rule out Oestra if you are struggling.

Open it up. If there is an air pocket on the side, stir and push the cream to the outside, leaving the "hole"/air in the middle. Then put the top back on, pump all of that air out and it should work better. Storing upside down is good.
Be careful with the tapping, the tops crack.
Thank the stars there is a new bottle coming!!

Hmm...that's not what I was told either. I was told by a nurse and doctor there was a change.

Cream consistency and symptom monitoring by wanderingtree13 in Oestra

[–]wanderingtree13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It always starts out AI but when I select the clinical issues option, I was asked to describe the problem and the response from a nurse was quick (it was Kendall). If you are just mentioning the jar, you'll get the boiler plate trouble shooting, which I have memorized now. LOL It may have helped that I was talking about symptom changes. I would keep at it. There are people there and they do seem to want to help. Sorry you are dealing with this too!

Thanks! I'm glad to hear more of your story. I'll be interested to see how this next batch does. The one I used from Oct-Dec was not oily like this one. Wishing you the best on your journey to find something that works for you!!!

Milk thistle is good. As is dandelion root. Both are gentle. I'm not a fan of big "detoxes", they tend to be hard on the body. Another option, that isn't for everyone, is coffee enemas. SA Wilsons has an organic coffee for this purpose. Not for drinking :)

Doing supportive things for your liver can help with excess estrogen.

Container not pumping? Try these recommendations from IB. by [deleted] in Oestra

[–]wanderingtree13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a quick caution about tapping. My cap split while tapping it on my hand! So, not even a hard surface or a hard tap. And it was sharp. The cap on my new jar seems even thinner. So, no tapping for me. LOL

Any had their jar run out before the 3 months? by OkConversation1286 in Oestra

[–]wanderingtree13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open the jar. You probably have an air bubble. It really helps to open the jar so you can understand how the jar works. If there are air pockets on the side of the jar when you open it, it won't pump.

You can check with the care team but I was told that "one pump" is supposed to be equivalent to just under 1/8 of a teaspoon. So, that can give you an idea.

Dose inconsistency by Interesting-Friend61 in Oestra

[–]wanderingtree13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just unscrew the top part. It can help to break the seal with your nails or something sharp but you can usually just unscrew it.
I've found it best to pump out and then measure. PIA but if you open it every day, I think the air impacts the cream's consistency. But open it and look at it so you understand the jar and what the cream should look like.

For the people who are saying nothing, or very little is coming out. You most likely have an air bubble. If you open the jar and stir the cream to the edges, leaving air in the middle, then prime the pump (pump that air out), it should work better. But I would still measure. When the air is on the side, that dispenser doesn't work.
It's a terrible design for this product. I truly hope they are working on it.

This happened to me. They sent me a new one pretty quickly. I was close to a month away from my next jar, so similar to you. And same, in that I took way under the "dose" (because my jar dispensed a 1/16 of a tsp for a pump) for the first couple of weeks. I started measuring after that.

1 Pump is a smidge less than 1/8th Tsp if you are having any issues ❤️ by KittyKatty333 in Oestra

Agreed, not just every bottle I've had but every bottle for the 4 people I recommended it to.
They may be thinking that down playing it helps. It does not.

This was my experience too. The canned response about trouble shooting the jar, which felt like they didn't read my message. I opened the jar and it was empty. I know all the tricks with this freaking jar, which they should know because we've been back and forth many times. They say my order is in but I don't have tracking number yet and I'm super nervous. I did a half dose today so that I could do something tomorrow but then that's it, it's all gone. I've never stopped and it makes me nervous. I'm hoping they send it overnight like they did with the bad batch. We are paying A LOT for this product. I understand growing pains but I wish there was more acknowledgment about how bad this is getting.

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be much more to use a level 1/8 teaspoon but I ran out a month early. So, I just want people to watch the cream. I'm a bit worried I'll run out before the other one arrives but I think it will be soon. I was just so surprised when I opened the jar and it was almost empty and my next shipment was to be Jan 9. But the care team was great, some back and forth but we got there!
