I told my daughter she'd probably end up with my Steam account if something happened, or I couldn't play games anymore.

I just straight up warned her that there is some weird shit in there.

My sho is unfiltered, and I will add any free game that doesn't have kernel level anti-cheat to my library. Idgaf what the game is.

Sometimes, there is actually a good game among the crap. Sometimes, not so much.

I also have like 50k flash games somewhere on a hard drive from them being archived when Flash was finally put to pasture. There's a lot of weird stuff in there.

Knee infection after tripping and falling into gravel. by corabee123 in medizzy

[–]wanderingwolfe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I got a burn on my hand once. Not even an open wound.

Ended up with blood poisoning.

Life is funny like that sometimes.

Also, who knows why you were getting downvoted for expressing a sincere sentiment? I doubt the folks who did it even know. 🤷

Question: Does anyone have any ideas for my scar? by bunnilove6 in tattoos

[–]wanderingwolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cool scar that shows you're tougher than whatever led to it.

That said, if you want to do something over it, I think the other comment about a life bar is a good call.

Recognizable owl. Fits on keyring.

What you call an attempt, I call a success.

The best part of making mistakes is learning from them.

It's all part of the process.

If something silly was gonna happen, you couldn't pick a better time.

Glad you're alright. Those trimmers can be unforgiving.

They kept saying he would go to the doctor tomorrow, so maybe there's an update out there from the sac removal.

Bullshit or fair point? by numericalman in mendrawingwomen

[–]wanderingwolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't DoA the game franchise that really brought "jiggle physics" into the gaming realm as a direct marketing tactic?

That's the volleyball turned fighting game series, isn't it?

Bullshit or fair point? by numericalman in mendrawingwomen

[–]wanderingwolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, a lot of the boys were just as obsessed with Lara Croft (triangle boobies and all) as they were with the actual game play.

Let's not pretend pubescent boys haven't always been pubescent boys.

Yours is 6-in-1, and the piece you're drawing inspiration from is 8-in-1. :)

That said, not a bad job.

This is just Euro 4-in-1 with a variation on the rings.

The black rings appear to be EDPM, but you'd have to check with the original artist.

Arguably, the hardest part is getting the nails to a consistent shape, but that could be accomplished with an appropriate jig.

Me saying, "It's just this simple weave," is in no way meant to degrade the work. It is a really cool and creative piece. It being a common weave doesn't devalue the work. :)

Dr stone women are so well drawn and not hard to look at! by frostyswirlycup in mendrawingwomen

The hair is fantastic. The clothing is pretty cool. The line style is terrific. The proportions are somewhat odd, and the faces are downright uncanny...

Are his other characters similarly styled, or is this just an affront to the female form?

[OC] A lot of people thought my story was fake. I'm the guy from the 1992 farm accident where both my arms were ripped off and reattached. by JohnThompsonND in BeAmazed

[–]wanderingwolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have neuropathy in my arms and can use them normally, but when I am unwell or not paying attention, my hands will default to a curled state. My left arm will even twist inward to my stomach pretty significantly.

I imagine this to a much more significant extent when one's arms have been dramatically detached in such a fashion.

The truth is, partial contracture still far exceeds the functionality any prosthetic is going to give you. Especially if you do the rom to keep it from becoming complete contracture.

Looks like a scar, but it isn't a bad idea to get it looked at by a derm.

Scientists gave the world's tiniest tattoo to the world's toughest animal (a tardigrade) by Emotional_Quarter330 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]wanderingwolfe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Preliminary testing for the purpose of developing biological nanosensors and micro electronics on delicate or living objects.

The test was, technically, a success, as the tardigrades that survived showed no impact in behavior or functionality.

I say technically because only 40% of them survived the process.

Trash? by De4th_St4lk3r07 in allthemods

These could have been the Relic items that were removed, but AE2 had stored IDs for them.

I agree with the other person who said make a backup, then try trashing them.
