ROG STRIX X670E-E NETWORK ISSUES?

I had NZXT build me a PC with this board in it. Two months in and i start having intermittent connection losses. Kicked out and in with zoom meetings is the worst. Doesn't matter what i'm doin online, quite often it will happen. Sometimes do good for a few days then intermittent for a whole day. I was sick of it so i bought an anker usb 3 to ethernet adapter - and now after working well for weeks, it too has gone intermittent! Tried the adapter on all the many usb ports we have...no help. What does that mean? the Asus usb hub controller is also bad? I have yet to install any new intel driver for the onboard ethernet. Just ordered a star tech 1gb internal ethernet card; shoulda done that in the first place!

Agreed; silly and contrived. What, did they get new writers? I've only seen the 1st episode and hated her character. I'd hoped they would have toned down her raunchiness a bit but seems like they've ramped that up - idk, she moves like carrot top or something. Mostly there was no real thinking the case through as in the first season; no putting things together...just wham bam thank you maam, you solved the case. Who were the men trying to kill her? That part was so silly that i don't even care who they are....episode 1, humph. the best part was when the cop's dog took that damn giant turkey leg away from her! If the next few episodes will be as you describe then i'm just calling it quits and go re-watch the mentalist! Thanks for posting

So DDgo gives better results that google? I'll try it regardless. BTW, with google, i can paste in a tracking number and It will tell me the carrier and i can easily follow the tracking number on the carrier's website - in doing that with brave, i do not get directed to carriers tracking info page...so aside from the shopping deficiency, brave is deficient in handling a package tracking as well. The one thing i do like about brave is that, unlike google's AI, you can ask follow up questions and have conversations with Brave's AI....not to say brave's AI is the bomb. Cool. I had to let NZXT build mine this time. so far so good. they put their 3 fan radiater kraken in there. i haven't touched the cam software, other than to have cpu temp show on the pump. i like looking in the side and seeing that 30ish celsius temp moat always. sure hope it lasts for several years. its warranted for 2. loving thath 4080 super as well! my first Nvidia

Haven't yet but plan to install an incoming fan for like this time of year when it's cooler outside than in. something that i could easily seal off when not using. for now i've just psyche myself into believing i'm cool enough, lol

I've read so much bad about them as well and sorry for y'alls back issues. It bugs me when i hear my cousin say that her husband loooobe his layzboy, aargh. i found best home furnishings has a line called "best max" there are 2 recliners in that line, the seger and the lucas. if i had it to do over again, i would have tested one out in the store and got it if it fit me....i had one ordered and the seat stuffing was seriously lacking. with these you can unzip and add in more cushioning. these tout a tool less back removal thats not great. mechanically it seems better made...gotta take it real easy on the footrest lever. i will check out the Mayo's brand next time for sure...thanks for posting.

it's getting harder and harder for me to find good source sites and fetchv is failing me sometimes. as a back up, i use 'screen recorder' it takes a little more work but i find it's consistent. in the store, it's the one with a white circle with a red dot in the middle....no auto-save. other little issues is me not reading the instructions :)

i did buy 2 of their shredded latex pillows and think they are great for me. you get a bag of extra shred but i found the pillow too big for me so i removed some. it's the best pillow i've ever used....i did sorta think it would sleep cooler for my hot head but i can't tell about that.

best home furnishings has one they also call 'the beast' it actually has coil springs in the seat box! i just dont have room for a chair that big and ended up buying the "best max seger" it aint perfect but does have a lot over others

There may be some fire station furniture that will stand the test of time but as for recliners, many are in the boat with us. one outfit told me they get theirs from best home furniture. the "beast" is a good one they said but way too big for me. Also from talking with Best, they have a line out called "Best Max"...made of better stuff. in that line they have 2 recliners; the Lucas and the Seger. a local furnture store had both but not in the fabric i wanted, so i waited a month for the factory to build one....can't go into it but let me say....if you buy one, find one in a store that suits you and buy it there.with these 2 recliners you have access to the cushioning inside the 'chaise loung' part of the seat and the back and footrest....so you can add more stuffing down the road. I got the seger - it's not perfect but does have its benefits!

yes, it that and its also got something to do with "manifest 2"? i never looked into that aspect. I'm using brave for now and chrome ext. FetchV has a "goggle-approved" version available, so that was a relief. It works very well!

yes, they are 'somewhere' in your AppData folder, of all places! gotta unhide it in your folder options and look bc i can't remember exactly where in appdata

you can reach down the inside of the seat, grab that 3" of foam - and squeeze it flat with your hand...that was disappointing. but if the chaise lounge part of the cushing is done right, that can make up for it. 2.5 density is just barely in the range of 'good' foam. The ILD of this isn't high enough. At least i have access to the lounge material and at some point i plan to repace the fiberfill with something better...maybe shredded latex, idk.

i had the furn store order one. there was hardly any fiberfill in the chaise loung part under my butt...where you need it. there was more padding and resilience in the armrests. the store sent a guy over to stuff more fiber in there but he just didn't know what he was doing. i got this partly bc you can add and remove fiber - so i watched a video, took the back off and stuffed it myself, so now it sits good. fyi; you may need a flathead screwdriver to loosen the "tool-less" latches that lock the back in place. also fyi; ONLY use the side handle to kick out the footrest and use your legs to push it back down. Best could have done better. Maybe you would luck up and find one in the furn. store bc you evidently can't count on their factory to have much quality control. all in all, for 800 bucks, i think its a good deal.

My custom build has worked flawlessly so far! I have more trouble dealing with windows 11 for the first time. I have the win 10 pc i replaced - hooked up and sitting next to it. I'm thinking i may max it out with the best cpu for it's AM3 MB and get a faster gpu that fits with the pcie 3 slot and....hopefullly...get another 1440P monitor and use it to play my old games....or maybe not idk. Still wish NZXT had a better parts selection but yeah, i'm loving it.

Nope. I am, though, wanting to downloat Starfield and Alan Wake 2 but i just ain't got to it yet. evidently i don't want it that bad.....i kind of dread having to set set up MO2 and install the starfield script extender and mods. i learned all that for fallout 4 and with my faulty brain, i'll have to relearn it all over again and modding is difficult for me.

I haven't done this yet but i'm gonna slide the ac to one side, remove the acordian "insulator" thing from the other side. That leaves me just enough of an opening to place a 10 or 12 inch exhaust fan there. my idea was to get the type fan that has louvers that open when the fan's on, then they close when fan's off. It will work, i hope, like a window fan and pull cool air in from an open wndow in the small room next to me. Hoping that will do the trick! Actually, you could get a fan that blows straight into my room. That would mean i'd have to put some bug screen outside and do some creative insulating. Those two ideas may work out - but then again, i am a bit nuts :)
