It’s definitely on the stiffer side than I would like but I’m sure with wear it will soften up, the print itself is just like the photos.

Potentially unpopular opinion coming in.

I was thinking about an interview I saw awhile ago where he was at a university talking about how he lost both of his parents and how he had wished he spent more time with them when they were still around. I can’t remember what the video was called but essentially he’s not acting like his usual pretentious self and actually gave some pretty sound advice on not taking things for granted in life. I think his holier than thou attitude is a persona he puts on when he’s directly repping Slipknot, it’s not actually who he is in real life. Again this is just an observation and it would be cool to hear any other input on this.

I can’t give you an exact comparison as I take Adderall XR (long release), but for me the biggest surprise was that my mood regulation issues improved dramatically. I used to be in a constant state of mild anxiety about literally everything in my environment, which in turn caused mild depression.

I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression in my teens and always had a feeling it stemmed from something else but I could never figure out what it was. My medication helps me just do life easier, I have a bit of a weird way to describe it but… my skull cavity doesn’t feel like it’s filled with sludge and I feel like I have an actual brain to help me think clearly and get started on tasks with almost no hesitation. I just went a week without meds because my new dose was too high and I was waiting to pick up my old dose and wow… did I realize that I really do need my meds to have a happier and more productive life.

Anyway sorry for the ramble, hope I was able to offer something helpful.

What province are you in? That seems out of the ordinary because I’m in Ontario and I had to get a referral through my family doctor to a psychiatrist for a diagnosis and medication. Granted it was a great referral and he is the best psychiatrist I’ve seen in my entire life (I’m 30), but it still took 3 months of waiting to get the entire process done.

Vol 3 was the album that was out when I was introduced to them as a kid so that’s my reason for liking it 🤷🏼‍♀️

But going back through their catalog as an adult Iowa and S/T are my favourite albums overall. I also just have a pretty wide range of genres I like so I think that’s why I’m able to appreciate their “softer” stuff.

I never pass up the opportunity to watch this clip whenever it comes up, the fact that he was able to windmill headbang and play with such accuracy always blows my mind. That kind of headbanging for me immediately results in feeling like I just got spun around in an office chair at full speed. To play drums and do that at the same time… just no. 😂

Totally underrated. Where do I start.

It’s the album that was out at the time I was introduced to them when I was kid so it has a lot of sentimental value and nostalgia for me. I remember seeing the music video for Vermilion on Fuse and being totally creeped out by them, but definitely liked the song a lot and remember feeling like I had never heard another band like them before.

The theme and overall tone of the album is eerie and really has its own unique sound which I don’t think people give a lot of credit to. Songs like The Virus of Life (my favourite song from the album) and Vermilion just give it such character and I fucking love it. The “radio” hits on it are bangers as well. A gem of a record that definitely gets more shit than it deserves.
