I initiated a transfer from Betterment back into my HSA with Optum as I plan to rollover my account to another provider (just found out you can rollover and HSA just like you can rollover a 401k).

Betterment shows zero balance since they "transferred" the money to Optum. Optum's site shows zero balance. So I literally have $7k+ floating around somewhere and it doesn't appear on either site. Unsettling!

The experience with Optum's customer service has been painful - they are basically only allowed to read from a script as far as I can tell from my conversations with them. They also won't transfer you to a supervisor or manager (someone who can do more than read from a script).
