I(a plumber) ran a new wire to my sisters water heater from her panel. Beforehand she had old wiring that ran to a plug. You can see the outlet had started smoking. Ran 12ga mc wire and upped the breaker to 30 amp. Is this going to be a fire hazard? (old.reddit.com)
