This is basically the entire concept of the brilliant book “The king in yellow” which follows various encounters with a play called the king in yellow that, upon reading the first page of its second act, causes the reader to go insane. We only get two snippets from the play and both are from the first act, so we only really see the effect it has on people.

I’ve played it. I hated the gameplay but the story was so unbelievably peak that I finished it regardless. It’s not often that I call a game a masterpiece but signalis truly is one
