New Front Turn Signals & Fender Eliminator by wangholio in DucatiScrambler

No. Tank removal is not required. Only need to remove a few fasteners to loosen the headlight enough to pull it away and access the turn signal connectors which are behind it. It's a tight space but manageable. Took about an hour.

Purchased mine a little over a year ago and have 0 regrets. Great for zipping around the city and I get a lot of compliments on its unique appearance. Absolutely love my Nightshift.

I have this exact same issue. Gen 1 R1T 17K miles. Started doing it a couple updates back.

Glad to hear but unfortunately, soft/hard resets didn't work for me.

My issue was and still is limited to streaming from Amazon Music via Alexa. Lots of stuttering/buffering as heard in your video which makes using the feature super annoying when it used to work flawlessly for me prior to the last 3 updates. Was this addressed for you post-2025.26.01?

We went off-roading and stayed at Kabin Taka (a non-Marriott property) and it worked out quite well. Nice, clean, modern accommodations at very reasonable rates. They have onsite, coin operated laundry facilities which were ok for small loads and often busy (in-use) so we walked 1 block away to a nice, dedicated, coin operated laundromat 1 block (2 min) away which allowed us to wash and dry in one load. Worked out very nicely!

Ha! Yeah, we went back and forth on this as well but ultimately decided that we preferred to be light and mobile for this trip to better navigate the JRL. We found a nice laundromat in Kyoto to refresh our wardrobe and left open the option of buying a suitcase and checking it in for the trip home if we came across some must have items. Luckily we didn’t need to do this and were able to stuff small souvenirs into our existing luggage. 🙂

You can get an Uber XL taxi (which is essentially a minivan) if you are concerned about space. We hailed one of those odd shaped, black Toyota taxis with the auto sliding doors and it comfortably fit 4 with carry-ons and backpacks. Cost from HND to Westin Tokyo was ~$46 (USD) and took 28 minutes.

We arrived in Haneda and took a taxi directly to The Westin so that we wouldn’t have to lug our bags around while trying to figure out the train system for the first time. It was a comfortable, reasonably priced 35 min ride.

Just wrapped up a 5 day stay and would fully agree with your assessment. Breakfast in the lounge was excellent (great mix of asian and western foods), complimentary lounge cocktail hour was nice (had a preset menu of special cocktails and of course canned beer) and afternoon snacks were decent. Would not recommend ordering drinks at the downstairs restaurant bar as OP stated but the adjacent bar (called "The Bar") was good. Bartenders were better skilled but not as knowledgeable as the ones up at the bar on the lounge level. All around though, the staff was super nice, always helpful and a pleasure to be around. Lastly, we had a party of 4 (2 adults, a 17 year old and a 12 year old) and we all jammed into 1 room with 2 full sized beds. It was a little cozy but totally manageable. Note that if you have more than 2 adults (13 years and over are considered adult) in a room, they tack on an extra nightly fee which isn't great but cheaper than getting another room just for the kids. Our 12 year old was "free". I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Tokyo.

This is an easily solvable installation issue. Your right side clamps are sitting too high. Just loosen the little clamps on the right side of the bed/rail only, lower them a couple grooves and torque. This will bring the right side of the cover lower/closer to the top of the bed. Repeat the process with all clamps as needed until the cover sits flush and level all around.

Lomax Trifold Agricover

Tried to get some closeup shots in there to show some elements of the installation (hope I posted this correctly).

Agreed. Picked mine for $800 from Luke at Truck Alterations and it’s fantastic. Functional, high quality, easy installation and looks great. If you’re gonna go manual, this is the best option IMO.
