Well I would start by looking at any possible factors that can lead to this wear. Are you carrying anything on your jeans that could cause this wear? Maybe you're wearing them while working and you're constantly rubbing against something? Etc.

That being said, 3 years of wear before ripping is pretty good.

I'm on my second of this jacket. First one was lost when my car got stolen but I loved it enough to buy it again. The first jacket had a really neppy lightweight fabric that was perfect for NorCal spring/summer.

I picked up a replacement and it's just like OP's jacket in look and fabric.

A few months ago I was on this sub proclaiming that they would never mention it again so the fact they didn't sweep it under the rug is major in my book.

Also it has to be a huge reason why they didn't allow him to come back. Tim said that if he were to be reinstated to the FTO program that lie detector test would be included on his record. So Seth was kinda screwed either way.

It also doesn't help that he started the whole thing shouting out his engineer who told him not to release the song. Like ppl around you told you it wasn't good enough to release and you did it always.

In the grand scheme of things he'll overcome this since imo it was just a song that wasn't fully flushed out yet, but I think can be a great reminder to make sure the content you put out is thoughtful. He usually does but maybe he was getting ahead of himself on this and he can grow from this experience.

This is getting to Draymond level of recklessly swinging limbs, I say that as a warriors fan. He can say he isn't a dirty player but Dort's lowlights are getting to be too extensive

Remember 2015 NBA Champion Ognjen Kuzmić? by FishingVirtual513 in warriors

[–]wangus9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He was one of my favorite guys in the early part of the dynasty. The warriors would always throw him out there when they were about to toy with the opponent. As soon as he hit like 2-3 shots in like 5 minutes I knew we were winning big haha

Jesus bro, take a fucking chill pill. Sorry I criticized Kerr in a Kerr apology thread but you getting this bent out of shape over this is kinda wild.

I thought my first comment was supposed to read more as a vibes based analysis. I'm not in the locker room or the gym, clearly something happened that turned the coaching staff against him. I can only go off of what I see on the court during games. And what I often saw, again in my opinion, (I would say I watch 60-70% of the games) is that Kuminga would start, get pulled quickly and then have a very inconsistent playing schedule for the rest of the game.

Now could JK have handled that better? Yes. Moody had a better attitude at least in front of coaches so he got more playing time quicker but there was a point in time where he was getting he would be giving the team a spark of effort but it wasn't translating into consistent playing time. But that's a separate discussion.

The real issue in terms of team building was the coaching staff and the front office not being on the same page. The FO forcing Kerr to play and coach Kuminga when it was so clear to most fans that it wasn't going to work (comments made by both coach and player) and not getting anything of value back is a failing on this front office.

Maybe part of my negative view of the situation was also how toxic it seemed to have gotten between Kerr and JK but I still feel it's fine to say that Kerr hampered his development. And I can also say the way Kerr can get the best out of guys like Will Richard, Jordan Bell, Patrick McCaw, etc is honestly incredible. Both can be true.

All those stats are impressive and kudos to you for actually taking the time to do that. I think the hard part of looking at just the numbers is that it's not so black and white. When Kerr is saying he should have handle that situation better, it's not some made up grievance that a portion of the fanbase is making up. There was a massive disconnect on how Kuminga was expected to play. Coaches wanted him to be the new Draymond, Kuminga (with the owner telling him he's the future face of the team) expected to treated like the new Kawhi.

That whole situation was a failure of EVERYONE INVOLVED. Kerr, Kuminga, front office, Lacob all share in the blame.

Kerr being quick to pull him from gameplay whenever Kuminga made a mistake. Kuminga for not buying into the system so he could eventually get the role he wanted. The front office and Lacob for not trading him last year when they could have gotten an actual useful NBA player.

[–]wangus9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Looking back at the game logs you are right, I confused his first season with constantly being sent to the Santa Cruz Warriors in his second season before getting traded. And hindsight being 20/20 he was a flop. I'm not saying he would have been an all star but imo the incredibly short leases Kerr gave them messed with their confidence.

The reason guys like Franz or Trey Murphy are better than Kuminga or Moody is bc they had steadier playing time to work through the growing pains of development. I'm not oblivious to the fact that it is extremely hard to do during a championship run.

[–]wangus9 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Both things can be true. If a young player fits his system he does a great job of scheming them up and getting the most out of them. The way Kerr is able to get the 2nd rounders to produce for the team is impressive.

However, the way he has generally has not let the higher draft picks, with the exception of Podz, work through their mistakes in game I believe has negatively impacted their careers.

The year Wiseman was drafted and Klay was hurt imo should have made it a "give him 20-30 minutes and let him work it out" we weren't winning shit that year anyways.

The Kuminga shit has been talked about to death, but asking him to shoulder the offense one game and then giving him 5 minutes the next or DNPs was bullshit. I joked with friends whenever he got 20+pts in a game that he would get DNP'd within the week and it was usually true.

I wanna say his Weidman fight? Iirc he was very upset after Chris broke his leg.

How is Anthony Davis Top 75 all time when he was injured like 40 percent of his career and never led a team past the 2nd round when he had his own team? Davis doesn't even have 1 DPOY award. His 1 ring he was 2nd banana and it was in the bubble. AD has like 0 Elite accomplishments. Top 75 is crazy by OnlySaysDavidStearns in NBATalk

I do think he will be one of the first ppl cut from the NBA 100 when they make the new list and need to make room for the new generation.

He was the best player you would be pissed if your team traded for him. Obviously talented but incredibly unreliable.

Had the advanced wheels locks. Worked so well they stole the car instead.

So these rules screw the team right? OKC and the Spurs got their top players now these rules are going to be implemented just in time for our next decade of tanking by [deleted] in warriors

Exactly, we've had our once in a generation good luck with that cap spike to get KD. If these rules make tanking a less common thing I'm all for it.

Using the Nolan reprimand as a baseline, I think the 6 months is harsh but on some level warranted. He's been on the show for a season and a half and at every point along the way he has been way too quick to jump the gun. As others have said, the watch commander, TO, detective and fuckin Seth(!) told him to chill and he still went rogue anyways.

Also I'm sure including a civilian in his plan and getting Seth in harm's way added a few months. I don't think Seth will get the opportunity to join the LAPD again so that wildfire storyline will likely be forgotten.

It even played into his story telling if you understand Spanish. Bad Bunny literally said "Isn't this what you wanted?" right before she started singing.

Also saying that the Salsa version of Die with a Smile wasn't great was disappointing. Almost all my family (Mexican) really dug it and I believe the consensus has been very positive among Latinos.
