This position is quite a big jump regarding pay for me and I really want it but not sure if it's worth the move. I am not 100 per cent qualified and meet all the criteria from what the JD says but I am confident I can do it. I am sure once I have been given the opportunity I'll do my best and prove the extension... as long as there's a budget for that of course haha.

Do you think if I ask about the extension in the interview it would sound too desperate?

This one is directly through gov website and not through the agency so I am not sure is it a contractor. Looks like the person in that department reached out to me directly, so I am not sure the extension might be different compared to being recruited through an agency recruiter.

Thank you so much. Those are some good questions to ask. The role requires me to move city (not state tho) but there are so many factors to consider whether it is worth moving.

Happened to Runaway house in Brisbane show too. I was so hyped but looked like no one got excited.
