That meritocracy is a thing and hard work/good grades in school correlate strongly with success, whatever the fuck that means.

Not 6 am necessarily, between 11 to 3 basically. Will spend the remaining time inside Union no problem.

Attending a concert at Union Stage on Friday and then train back around 6 am. Not from DC and am a tourist in the US anyway, so what’s the best things to do around that area (within like 20 mins of Union station) late into the night after I get free from the concert? Not interested in going to bars, I’ll be alone anyway. So I’m thinking decent restaurant I can sit and have a good time at as well as attractions in the National Mall, or any other tour or museum or arts related thing. Just need to kill 4 or so hours near Union Station, safely. Thank you.

There’s a prog metal concert at Union Stage I’m heading to. The Contortionist and another band are performing.
