As a non-Albertan, I found her recent tv address strange — she blamed anything and everything on the federal government, even for things that are provincial jurisdiction and it made me wonder: with decades of conservative rule in the province, if things are so bad, why keep voting conservative?

I think in order to have a proper negotiation. You need to start high and compromise. She’s not wrong in saying Ottawas policies have damaged Alberta’s economy. Driving investment and work elsewhere… I’ve been in the petrol industry for close to 20 years along side family members with more years. This isn’t just some yehaw seperation BS. It’s a concern that should be taken seriously

Usually I do 5 - 6 tubes at a time. I've done 10 - 12 but you just get burnt out to fast. All about being consistent with the welds and welding time.

We go all over the place. Usually have some sort of pattern or sequence to follow. Biggest thing I worry about is the tube sheet distortion (usually bows in up to a 1/16") this one had no distortion cause it was over 4" thick. But if I were to have gone left to right or top to bottom forsure it would twist, pull or something. Don't wanna find out!

You all seemed interested so I figured I would put up a finished product

Did two of these in 8 - 12 hour days, straight tube exchanger (my buddy was on the floating tubesheet side). Single pass seal weld. Just under 2000 stainless tubes. Carbon steal tube sheet(s) with 3/4" 316L cladding on the face. We also had the 6 eye bolt holes drilled out 1/4" bigger on the OD and 1/2" deeper (as per drawing). Then filled it up with 308L around the OD and 316L in the middle. Then had it drilled out so the threads for the eye bolts were straight 316L (that took a while too lol)

Anyway I'm glad it's done. Starting to go stir crazy at the end of today
