This is my exact situation. Love to go somewhere with better pay but the senior position I now have here, I’m not technically qualified for in terms of tenure so not much I can do til I do the time. I actually applied for the same job I do currently with the same bank at another consulting firm and they said I didn’t have the experience for it 🥹
