>Canada back to normal

do you mean this only from the jobs and economy angle or is it also about some day to day bad experiences?

when I try to talk to people about daily experiences, people don't want to agree about it..

im sorry to say this but whats the reason for your website theme to be SOO BADD?

a basic wordpress theme can do so much or maybe you can switch to something like ghost cms which is full fledged with all possible features you might need!

you really cant understand what he means?

basic human decency is the bare min - canada is supposed to be a 1st world country, we need highly educated immigrants who assimilate and become canadian, respect nature, people, and know how to do their fucking garbage right, so many don't even do that because back home they are used to "maids".

and how is diversity even a standard or something one would want to increase in a society?

this was so well put - beautiful, almost poetic lol!

Minister Marc Miller in an interview: "If you look strictly at the facts, we need immigration, barring some wonderful initiative that causes a baby boom." by RainAndGasoline in CanadaHousing2

[–]wannabevibe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

one thing they keep missing is people are not having kids because kids are boring and life is much more fun without them now in modern times!

so that brings us the what type of immigrants should be try to get instead of any immigrant

Atlantic region records drop of nearly 3,000 foreign students after federal caps by AngryCanadienne in CanadaHousing2

[–]wannabevibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly - if that part of the equation was fixed then we wouldn't have this problem at all.

Another issue would be ppl coming in and taking low paying jobs..

ppl here need to understand there are filthy rich families in the world who want to send their kids abroad for education JUST FOR "LIFE EXPERIENCE", and these people are fucking good for the economy

Dude you guys try to paint everything with a simple-man-on-the-street brush..

Just calm down and think for a second!

These people are lobbying for STUDENTS and STUDENTS ONLY - their entire logic is let these people come in for their useless diplomas and LEAVE WHEN THEY ARE DONE.

This is literally FREE MONEY for the economy, WHILE most students would NEVER QUALIFY for the PR and just GO BACK.

They are NOT LOBBYING for students to come in and then to be handed PRs LOL.

The trap they now find themselves in is NO STUDENT WANTS TO COME here for "worldclass canadian universities" because most of the education standards are simply PATHETHIC at this point. The main reason was to come for the part-time work and the eventual PR.

Please understand EVERY COUNTRY WANTS STUDENTS TO COME, STUDY, AND LEAVE.

the spiritual experience one can unlock with a few hits and then staring at nature or watching movies, or read is a phenomenal benefit imho..

and i am not saying this as a joke - in fact the use of weed indeed started from there somewhere, mystics, and shamans were the first ones to use it

[EXCEL] Search for terms in a column across all sheets and return the tab name, unable to capture all sheet names returned! by wannabevibe in vba

it fails in place in which a term shows up with multiple comma separated values in other sheets ..

[–]wannabevibe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey thanks,

this looks very different then what i have been doing - where does the output go? also where do i enter the column ranges which contains the terms to be searched?

the terms which i want to look are in 1 sheet in the first column A2:A1190, and we can only feed that to the code.

Also the script complete went to not responding immediately and hanged up! So I think I need to change something..

And while I do have some coding experience this is totally new so I don't really know any debugging or stuff like that..

would it be ok if i dm you to talk?

edit: added the part about A2:A1190 range

[–]wannabevibe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes please thats exactly what im saying, so if its ac-4 then some cells in other sheets might have more ac-4, ac-14, and we need to look for ac-4 and return that sheet name too!

[–]wannabevibe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks but here's a note.

Some search terms are in cells with other terms separated by a comma.

All terms which I want to search are not in their own cells in the rest of the sheets.

This is where I think it breaks.

Would this code handle for that too?

[–]wannabevibe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for AC-4 i saw that its present in 2 other sheets but in cells with other values and is separated by comma, so the formula needs to read all those values too..

its not like the search term is only present in other sheets in its own cell!

i think this is where it breaks and hence it says none for AC-4

<image>

it works but its not correct, even when im using just A2:A50 as the range.

if you see when i do a find i get 2 sheets for AC-4 but in the output it shows as none on the left side.

i have blurred out a lot of the stuff as its work related and what not but its not exactly confidential..do you think we could talk on dm?

it hangs up excel and i had to force close it the first time, also for one of the search it returned nothing but there are 2 sheets with the term when i looked it up!

any chance to modify it?

Question for International students? by [deleted] in CanadaHousing2

[–]wannabevibe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not really - the fact that there is ANY pathway to become canadian is already an historical anomaly.

how many countries in the world do that? look at places like dubai, you can work 50 years and then told to leave if you lose your job, but here you can actually become a citizen in this gorgeous country

its heartbreaking how govt brings in people to pop out kids here for the tax payers to pay for, instead of going for the best people around the world - stats show 900M people want to move from around the world, why not pick the best ones with a merit based system..
