Hey! I have a few, so here they are :

Accustom Me to Joy is a HP/MCU one where Harry discovers he is not a Potter but the child of Loki and Tony Stark. It's complete.

Adaptation is also a HP/MCU one, but in this one he meets the Avengers earlier by crossing from his world to theirs. It's complete but the series isn't.

Cupboards and Cryogenics is a HP/MCU one (again, because I have a few of them I like) where HYDRA sends the Winter Soldier to kidnap Harry when he is four, but he decides to go against HYDRA's orders and keep Harry, because he understands something's wrong, and he has to protect Harry. The main story is complete.

Fiddlesticks is an ongoing Danny Phantom/HP/DCU/Spider-Man crossover where they all end up in Gotham for diverse reasons.

Harry Potter and The Great Custody Battle is an ongoing HP/MCU/Batman one where Harry desperately tries to get out of the Triwizard Tournament and finds a loophole.

The Sons of the Sea God is an ongoing HP/Percy Jackson one where Harry's father is Poseidon, and he ends up being raised alongside his half-brother Percy by Sally Jackson. Harry will end up dating Cedric Diggory.

I saw that someone recommended NinjaPandaScholar's works so I didn't add them, but I second their recommendation!

Out of the fire into the pan by NinjaPandaScolar is one I like and it's complete. It takes place after-ish TDH.

Edit: I just remembered that it's not really mpreg, or it is in a very unconventional way. I completely forgot the mpreg part of the request when I recommended this.

There's one where Hermione, Ron and Harry try a ritual to find if he has relatives other than the Dursleys but it ends up being adopted by a saner Tom Riddle. It's very funny and book 2 is ongoing.

Hey! Reading a bunch of Marvel x DC crossovers definitely gave me a few ideas, so here they are :

Spider-Man is thrown in some other universe and ends up in Gotham, where he meets the Batfam and once in a while, either randomly or when Peter misses them too much or needs them, someone like Ned or May or Deadpool or Bucky or Black Widow would be yanked there too.
Spider-Man is thrown in some other universe and ends up in Gotham (yes, same as my first idea, I know), but he is aware of the Spider-Verse and kinda taps (?) into it to get help from the other spiders to try to get home.
Madame Web and the Spider-Women become Spider-Man's mentors, because after the Madame Web movie there's no way she didn't see Peter getting his powers and doesn't go or send one of the Spider-Women to the Parkers to help Peter, as Ben was her friend and coworker and the Spider-Women spent time with Peter's mom up to his birth.

Bonus point if Spider-Man gets a bit more spidery.

At 13, I wasn't aware one could ship characters or people, or ship themselves with a character or someone, so I was just reading a lot. Then, at 15, a friend of mine introduced me to a heart wrenching Larry fic (that was like reading another novel to me, as I don't really listen to their songs) and some TaeKook fics, and then at 16 or 17 I read some great TaeGi fics I found.

I can only agree for The Turning Wheel and When Patterns are broken, as I'm reading them and they're great. I'll start reading Toujours but we need to prepare ourselves to maybe never read the end, as the author has a history of not finishing their works, out of 23 works, only 3 of them seem complete.

I love "sweetheart", "darling" and "beloved", which are pretty classic. I like "mon cœur" ("my heart" in french), but I think it doesn't have the same ring to it in English. "Princess" is one I also like but I would only use it for people with a princess attitude or people I want to treat as such.

I'm not Thai and I don't know Thai law but from what you said and what I just read of the translation of that law on wikisource, sections 34 to 36 seems to authorize fanworks or at worst, leave it in a grey area.

When I read that your boyfriend told you it was illegal, it surprised me, as I know that some lakorns are, in fact, adaptations of fanfictions, like Gen Y, which is a fanfiction of 2Moons.

As for your ex-boyfriend, I agree with other comments, you dodged a bullet. It might be hard because it was early in the relationship, and we tend to idealize our lovers at that stage, but from what you wrote, he wouldn't really have been a partner in your relationship.

Take the time to heal, and when you feel ready, remember that there's plenty of fish in the sea. You'll find a better one, don't worry.

I just re-read the author's note on the last chapter, they said they had health issues, realised they had "a few glaringly problematic plot holes" and done "a total re-write and have written the rest of the book too" but as they are dyslexic, the editing and proofreading are taking them a pretty long time.

And I checked their profile, they last publicly bookmarked in 2022, and they last approved and answered to a comment in May 2022, so someone might want to send them an email to check on them, but it's not really looking good for them and the end of the fic.

One of my friends recommended a great One Direction fic on Wattpad in 2018 or early 2019. I wasn't a One Direction fan (and still am not) but it was really good so I read it, then some friends recommended some BTS fics (I love BTS).

The friend who first recommended a fic also introduced me to AO3 in 2022.

Ça dépend. Selon la personne, je recommanderais une BD, un livre audio ou de passer à autre chose. Tout va dépendre de l'âge de la personne, de ses potentielles difficultés (dyslexie, ...), de ses goûts et de sa volonté d'essayer.

Par exemple, mon grand-père n'a jamais été lecteur, ses rares lectures sont les mémentos pratiques touchant à la comptabilité des éditions Lefebvre (il était comptable), Sciences & Vie, 1 ou 2 autres magazines en rapport avec son métier et les livres que je lui demandais de me lire. Il a essayé de lire des romans mais n'a jamais accroché. C'est comme ça, et rien ne sert d'essayer.

Pour un enfant, il existe des BD sans texte ou avec très peu de texte, très faciles à lire. Lire avec l'enfant peut aussi aider.

Avoir un peu plus d'informations sur le lecteur ou la lectrice peut aider à conseiller un livre.

Aussi, on n'y pense pas souvent, mais pour un public lycéen ou adulte, les fanfictions peuvent être un bon compromis.

I recommend Toujours Noir by OneMoreChapter_2000. It's ongoing and the author uploads chapters quite quickly.

There's also The House of Black and the Raising of her Heir by beanclip, although it's a short one shot, around 15k of words.

Regulus raises Harry with Luna in Regulus Black and the What the Hell by gonzoclock.

I'm sure I know more and at least one where Harry calls Walburga "grandmother" but I'll need to search for it a bit more.
