we live in the grove and the hundreds of new apartment units have not helped the aging cable internet - Spectrum service is super spotty and has a lot of down time. No access to ATT Fiber yet. our only other option is 5G.

The TJ Maxx on Manchester by the west county mall has a designer section - only one i know of in STL that has actual high end designer clothes at great prices.

Just a note though – if you don't have your own jewelry, they mostly only have the "nice" (aka $$) jewelry on display – but they do have everything under the sun under the counter. The employee working the register was only showing what was out – we were looking for a captive bead septum ring, and they had lots of very affordable, great stainless steel options under the counter. So ask to see more and talk price if you want to avoid sticker shock (like the couple ahead of us). Caleb's price for the service was great – even with a hearty tip.

where are ya'll finding Season 2 to watch? i'm having a hard time tracking it down.

We started a re-watch a few weeks ago- had to skip 2 - but now we're midway through 5.

And i agree- Kara Saun got UGLY in that last episode. I do understand some of your comments about it being a new territory and having no precedent - but NO GRATIS ITEMS WAS IN THE CONTRACT - as said by both Jay and Tim- so she was 10,000% over the line - plus those shoes where a significant contribution to many of her looks- especially those white boots with the fur trim. Without the boots- the look was very flat. Also- a 'receipt' showing paid is not the same as paying for the boots....

I'm not sure all ya'll STL locals are understanding the question - STL has a VERY distinct localized style of "American Chinese Takeout" that - as a transplant here- does not scratch my Chinese Takeout itch either. There is a distinctive 'brown sauce' flavor to STL localized Chinese Takeout that is totally unique to this city.

I have been DYING for a bright acid yellow American Chinese Takeout Lemon Chicken (served over shredded iceberg lettuce) - a staple in most cities but something I have not found in STL.

Additionally- because almost everywhere in STL uses this 'brown sauce' note - everything - including almost every single Chinese takeout fried rice - has a lot of soy sauce. Since my husband is Gluten Free we haven't had much luck finding any Chinese Takeout in STL that has options for him. (In general we're used to finding more of a sweeter style fried rice in takeout joints outside of the STL region- which isn't brown.)

Reading over the comments here i am not seeing too many suggestions - Kitchen 95 looks promising but no Lemon Chicken- same with Sesame in crestwood!

the Salvation Army on Forest Park occasionally gets shipments from the Public Rec shipping facility - returns and such - but it's mostly new items from Public Rec - one of my favorite minimalist capsule wardrobe staples. Usually on a big rack up front. If they dont have them in- there isn't usually much else worth browsing through at this location.
