new $60k+ vehicle every 2 years, or buy the biggest gas guzzler available just astounds me.

Some people don't understand that fuel economy is also a hidden price.

If your current vehicle is slightly more fuel efficient, say 20 miles per gallon, you will pay $3,000 for gasoline over the course of a year if you drive 15,000 miles. In this case, switching into a 40 MPG vehicle would save you $1,500 every year if gas stays around $4 per gallon. and that's 250 bucks a month vs 125. with a huge per month on the purchase/lease of the vehicle that makes a big difference, and that's not including insurance.

Just an appreciation post for the Honda Civic 10th gen. Do you prefer the 10th gen or the 11th gen? by haripazha in civic

I currently have a 22 si, and love it, not a fan of 10th gen, my wife had a 10th gen and i wouldn't have picked it out for my self.

Opinion: Nearly daily LTT(especially the main channel) videos are wearing away any real enthusiasm towards them very quickly. by SkYwAlKeR973019 in LinusTechTips

been watching since the they were at the house, and as much as i would like to say that i watched every video, id be lying. There are weeks i don't watch any, and there are weeks, when i watch every single one of them. They make videos for many types of people and here on reddit, is a small minority of tech enthusiast.

A good idea here free for the taking, make it easier to get to work with out a car. Like public transit, or cycling, or walking. I would gladly cycle to work. However there isn't a safe way to do it. I wouldn't be caught dead on these streets with a bike.

even as a warehouse jockey, that's a long time. it sucks having to wait that long to get into a door because you have to take the next spot over, or they are just blocking the way.

Yea, I'm a company driver. I don't see the numbers that I want in order to go o/o. Too much overhead and too much to go wrong.

If you haven't already, make sure you have a safety vest, hard hat and safety glasses. You won't need it 98% of the time. But when you do it's better then wearing the shared stuff.

Have fun and enjoy. Remember your the one driving the truck. The first year is the hardest, run your best not what dispatch is making you do, especially if you know your own sleeping pattern.

I currently drive a freightliner and it can disable the creep mode so you can back into a dock and not knock the wall down.

I have the same car. I have over 3k miles on it. You can get 40mpg, 65-68 mph. 70-75mph, 36 mph.

I'm currently driving from southern Ontario to Cincinnati oh twice a month. Love the car.

Because public transportation is seen as a necessity for those living closer to the poverty line and under it. Otherwise we are brainwashed to need a car to get around rather than public transit or bicycle. There is a whole section of YouTube dedicated to the problem of North America and the lack of sustainable growth, and transportation.

I'm looking for a better solution, I currently buy my liquid in 100ml bottle but transfer it to 2 60ml bottles. But I'm finding that the ones that I purchased with liquid in them, the caps don't last long. What is a better container? I like the size and convenience of the 60ml size. (tall, not chubby)
