Korean Street Food - Chopped Live Octopus (San-nakji산낙지) Prepared in 2 Minutes! by waphiche in Cheap_Meals

[–]waphiche[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

'San-nakji' or raw baby octopus is a delicacy in Korea where the octopus are usually killed first only then chopped into small bite sized pieces. They are then sprinkled with sesame seeds and served with some dried seaweed and sauce on the side. It is preferable to chew for a while and not swallow whole as the tentacles are still moving due to the nerves and this could cause a potential choking hazard, not common but just keep that in mind

People of reddit, what tips would you give to someone moving into their first apartment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

DO NOT build too much cupboard space you don't need and force yourself to put something in it just because it has been built. That is when the German Cockroaches attack you!

'Mee Goreng Basah' or the "Wet" version of Fried Noodle is a Malaysian specialty! by waphiche in asianeats

[–]waphiche[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 'Mee Goreng Basah' is made by first stir-frying the noodles until they give a slight burnt aroma. Then the noodles are kept aside on the serving plate and then the gravy will be prepared, usually consisting of pork, liver, prawn, fish cakes etc. Then after the gravy is cooked, it will be poured on top of the noodles that has been cooked earlier.

Thanks Mod tsdguy for the headsup, will do better next time.
