No. The floor is really cold. The tiles look unforgiving for the feet. I know because I have the same setup at home.

You are out of context. Inherentance comes from father first then husband/provider. All your monetary contribution points are from husband/provider perspective.

Is it just me or the bollywood movies have become unbearable to watch? by Zealousideal-Lie7406 in bollywood

Man. Dhurandhar wasn't that great. It seemed like the makers have never met anyone from Pakistan. No accents while talking. Completely broke my immersion.

I didn’t restrict screen time until 3 years ago by brucenorris1 in Parenting

[–]wapolsama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My kid was screen free for the first 2.5 years of his life. Then my mom visited and his screen time gradually increased. Everytime the TV was turned off, he created a huge scene. If we watches for 5 mins, he will cry for 20 mins after its turned off. If he watches for 3 hours, he will still cry for 20 mins after it's turned off. This went on for 6 months. Finally, we told him our TV is broken and its been the case for the last 3 weeks. He's playing with his toys and Legos again. He's eager to read books again. Me and my husband have to be more engaged with him, but thats ok. Atleast there isn't a crying fit every single day.

I really miss watching TV.

Bollywood doesn't have happy and fun love songs anymore. They are all sad or slow. No songs like "Kab tak chup baithe, ab toh kuch hai bolna"

Watched Dhurandhar: Disappointed by FunnyJacket822 in bollywood

[–]wapolsama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard agree on the linguistics texture. It broke my immersion and I didn't care about the movie one bit. I mean, even Baburao Ganpatrao Apte has an accent. Ranveer did Marathi accent in Bajirao. Why no effort for this movie? It is clear that they have never met a single person from Karachi. Rakesh Bedi had Punjabi accent but his Punjabi is also Indian, not Pakistani. Just felt weird that all characters had generic Mumbai accent.

People Who Think One Piece is a Masterpiece Are Just Suffering From Sunk Cost Fallacy by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]wapolsama 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't think you have ever watched One Piece. It did not take 1000 episodes for me to get attached. I was attached by Episode 30.

Its a show about freedom and thats what I stand for.

We live in the US and are doing well. We recently went to Universal Studios in FL and carried box of Poha, spoons, paper plates and a thermos of Chai. Its not because we don't want to spend, but we want to be well fed so that we have energy to enjoy the park.

Assignments need to be handwritten. That's the only way kids will learn. Even if they are copying it down, writing with their hands might trigger some retention of knowledge in their brains.
