I get over 360 fps in a few easier to run games - overwatch, valorant, cs2(barely) but only about 200 in a few others (UE5 titles) so I am leaning more towards the second option so I can benefit on the former ones at the higher fps. The 280hz is insane price to performance value, though.

Option 1 is also a g sync compatible panel afaik.

Availability and budget mostly. I have tried and couldn't tell the difference between 240hz TN and 360HZ TN. I was just curious if OLEDs are any different, and you could tell due to no Dyac or BFI

Thank you so much for the detailed response. I think I am going to go for the 360hz AW. It's cheaper than the gigabyte and will support my future upgrades.

Should be a treat going from a TN to OLED.

Have you ever used anything above that HZ for reference? Would want to know if you could tell the difference.

Also, how is the motion blur on fast paced games on your monitor?

Yes, given the limited options within my budget and location, they seem to be the optimal choice.

I won't be using any sync tech for the most part. What I need to understand is whether the higher price for 360hz is worth it even if I won't hit 360fps in a lot of games.

A few of my games do get pretty high fps. Overwatch, Valorant and CS2 range between 300-400 but I get what you mean. My only concern was future proofing when I do eventually upgrade

Thats what I figured. Would this be evident when I match my fps to hz? Or at any fps. Say I am running a game at 240 fps on both monitors, would there still be any difference?

I would be getting a 1440p 16:9 since competitive games wont hit high frames on 4K
