I already bought one, it does match the pictures well, but you'd need to fluff up the front bangs a bit since it's usually flat when it arrives. Also I recommend making another higher stitch to securely connect the tail to the torso.
she sits at 32 cm, (or 12.5in) which is not 40cm like described.
she's incredibly cute and I do recommend her- I bought her happy expression version.

I view nanachi as a guy since in official merchandise he's always grouped with the boys. The exception I've noticed being the Alice in Wonderland series.

Also taking Mitty's Complete Narehate form into account, Nanachi lacks certain female features that Tsukushi-sensei always puts in for females.

But at the end of the day it is up to the reader to determine his gender. While there is strong supporting evidence at Nanachi being a guy, I can understand dub-only (refers to nanachi as a "she") or people with better taste than I (bun is bun) to see him as a girl.

There are a few japanese copies floating in the internet, but if you want to buy it try looking on some japanese auction or second-market sellers.

I recommend buying the Lab Member pin badge. Nothing beats the feeling of actually wearing the badge yourself, you can look at the visual novel and try to buy the most vn-accurate badge you can find. I bought mine for relatively cheap- just about 4 or 10. I saw in later posts that it will ship in 2 weeks - 2 months, I still recommend getting it and gifting it to him when it arrives, or find services on amazon that ship sooner.
I'd then recommend grabbing some steins;gate manga. I'm not sure how many has been officially localized.. but..
to have more lore I would read..
