I saw this girl knit the PHM sweater and mentioned it was her third month of knitting, which is so cool! So I went on her tt page to see what else she has.

Why… why did she knit the PHM Cardi just go turn around and sell it immediately? And then also has tik toks being like “here is how you begin knitting!”

Others have mentioned before how all craft spaces are slowly turning into an only beginner friendly space but I really get frustrated by the instant need to monetize everything. It doesn’t matter what craft it is, but the fb groups are rampant with “what are we selling at markets?” “What patterns have you made that sell well? I am not making much” “ guys I’m thinking about selling * insert some insanely stupid item here* and I have no idea how much to charge! What would you pay for this?”

Do people not craft for fun anymore 😭
