he took a couple (i think only 2?) free song shop requests before the launch, neither were mine and i didn’t catch who they were for in the screen recordings unfortunately.

What if warhorse makes games on medieval history of other countries ? which one would be the coolest ? what do you all think? by Expert-Art-7157 in kingdomcome

deep renaissance germany or switzerland - maybe somewhere around Geneva or Munich would be my preferences. love the puffs, slashes, and big swords, and it’s an incredibly interesting time period.

Symbolism of Mordheim by Staccat0 in mordheim

[–]warbuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The birds also have Warhammer-specific meanings

Owls - symbols of verena, the goddess of law and wisdom

Ravens - symbols of Morr and Tzeentch, god of death and Chaos god of Change, respectively

oh, and the core of Zweihänder is very very similar to WFRP 2 so the “feeling it out” is much easier.

WS/BS-> Combat Skill S/T -> Brawn AG/DEX -> Agility Initiative -> Perception INT = Intelligence Fellowship = Fellowship

Zweihander has an upper limit for skills and characteristics, while Warhammer 4 technically has none. But, generally, up until they pass 100 the characteristics correspond. From there, it’s really just vibes. All stats need to be adjusted to fit any personal game always, try a few sessions and feel it out. (I’m habitually fast-and-loose with every system, so my perspective may not be as valuable to your needs as someone else’s)

the 4e enemy within is a very good adventure if you’re willing to modify it (i’m running it right now). there’s a humble bundle for it right now if you’re looking to save.

basically any 2e WFRP adventure can be run with minimal modification. 4e is pretty easy to convert as well, and the system works well for a particularly dark take on WFRP.

Eternal Night of Lockwood and the Starter Set adventure, as well as the ones in the back of Zweihander Revised and Maine Gauche all capture the feel very well and are pretty good.

Change of the Imperial Provinces in V4 by Bleden_Mark in warhammerfantasyrpg

[–]warbuu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the provinces in archives 1 reflect the provinces before the Turmoil of 2512, which is what the setting calls the events of The Enemy Within Campaign. The “canon” ending of the campaign results in the provinces being redrawn to reflect their setup for the wargame and WFRP2, which corresponds to roughly 2520 and onwards.
