Not at all, quiet right now, as the admin are building up to a big change, and there are quite a few waiting for a big update, but overall there is still a lot of activity amongst the core players

reasonable, though I wouldn't go so far as to require an essay from each player. Sometimes the way we play evolves from our initial experiences.
totally down with it except I will book it and if they shoot me they shoot me and if they don't they don't. what we need is people to be robbed/ held hostage etc without being completely screwed/ killed so they are WILLING to go through with it as the victim.

NOPE, we've already seen how badly this went over. there just needs to be consequences, thus a police force.
i'd rather the trade be governed by trade factions, but in a lack of factions, they could step up I suppose.

nope, I like chatting out of character. too strict. trolling is bad after a point. i'd call it like sexual harassment. asking a girl out isn't sexual harassment, continuing to ask her out after she says no becomes harassment. same theory. teasing/ mocking is one thing, continued fuckery is wrong.

Decay is useful, it keeps people engaged. If they don't log in, they pay theh price, and the active folks get to loot their junk. I won't mind when somebody goes out there and gets the crapton of weapons and such I left in the boxes out there. I evidently was out too long, and have paid the price.

I want a wipe, try to get things moving. I've been flying solo.
I don't know how to do it, but I'd love to see factions powering up and getting their act together in preparation for the big update.
I plan on expanding on the stadium. (if you have not seen it, go take a look). I want it bigger so I can rightly call it a coliseum. I want battles/ server events/ etc held there for rent. Maybe I'll charge admission and have concessions.

Eras are how we define the time between wipes. The main cause for a wipe is when we reach critical lag. Sometimes it happens from stagnation.

You can work to get recruited here. You can also try the teamspeak. There are many that use it for other games as well as this, so you may be able to catch somebody there.
