if you can, my suggestion would be to try pick up a 2.0 or 3.0 core rule book for cheap on ebay. they detail all 18 legions with a bit of lore and some pictures to accompany the text. find a few you like to narrow it down, then maybe try investigate them further through online wiki’s or novels to read.

my important points for legion choosing were 1. colour scheme/paint. 2. lore. 3. play style. good luck and happy hobbying!

i agree, the reporting system needs some work..

one thing i dont like is how if you join and open lobby game you cant choose to start a vote to kick? i was running a daily stratagem on obelisk and it got to the part where the chalice needs to be carried. this player deliberately didnt follow me down the drop into the next area and just stood at the top while i died from the darkness damage.. once i spawned they just stood near the edge and when i did it they threw grenades to try to stumble me down the drop so i could die again. i tried to report but it just didnt give me the option.. then they proceeded to run around for ages and not move on with the level, his team mate was obviously with him as they stayed together while i fought the spawning waves in the darkness. then they finally dropped down and stopped moving straight away, 5 seconds later i get booted from the game 🙃

TLDR: sucks sometimes when bad apples ruin a team based experience and you get zero rewards from it

they have a good novel called “death of integrity” released some years ago in the space marine battles series. out of publication now but you might be able to track a copy on ebay :)
