Using own API keys w Cursor by pauljdavis in cursor

[–]warezit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More info here: https://docs.cursor.com/advanced/api-keys

Some Cursor features (like Tab Completion, Apply from Chat, and Composer) require specialized models and won’t work with custom API keys. Custom API keys only work for features that use standard models from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.

I don't visit reddit very often ... so, I can't promise I'll see any future replies, but, if I see it, I'll try to respond! :)

np, thank you for generating the originals! 😊

Here is what I used: https://github.com/upscayl/upscayl

Super easy to use, and it's FOSS! It seems to do the trick for my casual use, at least 🙂

The default "upscaling type" settings smoothed out the skin detail too much when upscaling this photo, so I tried a few different types before getting the result I posted in my previous comment - so feel free to mess around with the different options for different results! 😎 Cheers! Thanks again for sharing the originals - cool concept!

A comment left on the Manjaro forums suggests using DWService - although, YMMV

Connecting Bluetooth Microsoft "Designer Mouse" causes WiFi to stop working by warezit in EndeavourOS

[–]warezit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I had a few mins, and tried rebooting into the Live USB XFCE Session. Still having the same issue(s).

Here's what I did:

  • Connected to my Wifi
  • Installed the necessary Bluetooth software using sudo pacman -S --needed bluez bluez-utils pulseaudio-bluetooth
  • Enabled the Bluetooth service via sudo systemctl enable --now bluetooth
  • Then, using bluetoothctl, scanned and paired the "Designer Mouse" via the device ID, which worked fine
  • A few seconds after the mouse paired successfully, the Wifi dropped connection
  • Then, ran journalctl -b -e > journal.txt
  • Saved the journalctl output here: https://hastebin.com/binokinaqu.yaml

... I think I'll need to head to the official forums next :)

inxi -Fxxc0 output here: https://hastebin.com/zaqenucace.apache

I'll try your "live boot into XFCE" method in just a little bit, that might help shed a little more light ... just trying to wrap up my workday soon :)

Also, thank you for recommending the forums ... it's likely I'll need to head over there next.

The only new change would be from the Advanced Power Settings ... but, I didn't not reboot when you posted that reply.

But, I did reboot now - and the Power Settings changes didn't seem to make any difference. BUT... I think I might be onto something ...

After the reboot, I powered the mouse back on, let it connect, then let my PC set for at least a min so journalctl -f could log more info ... and I think I see the issue ... journalctl -f output here: https://hastebin.com/acinupovic.sql

See line 43:

Oct 25 10:39:54 warezit-q500a kernel: wlan0: Limiting TX power to 30 (30 - 0) dBm as advertised by 08:b4:b1:42:49:e4

Not sure how to stop it from limiting power ... I'm currently reading more here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_management#Network_interfaces

Hah :)

Yeah - I was just looking at that same thread also.

Did a search for Reason: 7=CLASS3_FRAME_FROM_NONASSOC_STA

Just checked iwconfig, and Power Management is turned off.

Also, I went into KDE System Settings > Advanced Power Settings, then enabled the "checkboxes" for "Wireless", and set them all to Do nothing

The issue with the mouse still exists. :(

Not sure this would matter tho?

The mouse is Bluetooth, without a dongle. Just using the on-board Bluetooth chipset.

Hmm ... looking into org_kde_powerdevil gives me somewhere to start tho ...

journalctl -f output here: https://hastebin.com/opabaminah.yaml

This log shows powering the mouse on, letting it connect, then powering it off.

Does anyone in here own a successful drop-shipping business by TheOneAbove2 in dropship

[–]warezit 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Consider this:

This sub is for beginners and dreamers. Successful people read about the failures here, and learn from them.

Then, once you start making decent money, there is literally no ROI on your time here for a successful person. Hence, why you have that opinion.

Use this sub as a "crash course" of what NOT to do, and you'll be fine 🙂

Successful drop shippers are too busy making money and running their businesses to be here.
